I Like the old town anf the guest haus was in the old town

Conveniently located, modern room

I liked how the room was accessible with an application and did not have to find hidden keys in the dark. The room was spacious and quiet even though it was located in the city centre. Very accessible from the funicular station. The owner allowed us to leave our luggage after our checkout. In the end we took them all when we checked out, but it was assuring that we had an option to leave our suitcase during our hike.

It was hard for us to figure out how to turn room heating and shower room towel dryer/heater. I could not sleep well on the first night because of coldness. The second night was better as an owner quickly responded to my WhatsApp message and confirmed the setting while we were away in the conference.

Well Located Apartment - Be Aware of the Stairs!

Perfectly located apartment in the heart of town and close to the funicular to and from Lugano train station. The apartment is clean, modern and well-equipped. The air conditioning system is perfect for hot summer days. We appreciated that essential toiletries and cooking essentials were provided.

The stairs! I wish I read the other reviews before booking. Eight flights to reach our top floor apartment, which was just gruelling - especially with luggage or shopping. The listing(s) should clearly state that some apartments are not suitable for people with mobility issues. Noise was another issue. The apartment was generally quiet, aside from the sound of someones air conditioning running all night right outside the window. So ear plugs were needed. Communication with Vito was excellent - up until we were in the apartment and needed assistance. On arrival, we found the main window blind broken and left on the table. Which meant we had no way to shut out light in the bedroom area! I asked twice for someone to come round and fix it, but was ignored. We had to create a temporary fix every night to keep the light out for the duration of our stay. We also had problems using the TV. There was no info provided to explain that it could only be accessed via an app and that it is 'pay to view'.

Great Location, But Accessibility Is a Challenge

The property was nice and modern, and the location was very central, which we appreciated.

The appartment itself is very small. However,the main issue was the stairs: there was no elevator, and the staircase was extremely narrow. The apartment is located on the third floor, and since my family was traveling from the USA with two large suitcases, it was very difficult to carry them up. The stairs were so narrow that even one person could barely fit without luggage. This made the arrival and departure quite challenging.

Convenient location for short stay in Lugano.

Clean and comfortable apartment with well-stocked kitchen. Spacious living area. Close to shops and central area of town.

The decor is pretentious and unattractive. The spacious bathroom verges on the impracticable: water from the shower flows down towards the middle of the room, and the washbasin is a shallow circular bowl, with a single tap regulating water flow as well as heating, so that it is rapidly full to overflowing when hot water is required.

Great location but no elevator and some foul smell from the bathroom

The best feature of the property is the location! It is centrally located to most things you would want to do in Lugano. It is a short walk from the train station, which is a lot easier when going to the apartment since that is all downhill. To get to the train station, one can easily take the funnicular which runs every 5 minutes. This is definitely very helpful when going to and from the station with luggage. We were in apartment 3 which had a very modern feel to it.

A few things that could have been better: 1. Instructions to use the funnicular to get to the apartment would have been appreciated. This is something we discovered after lugging our bags to the apartment. 2. There was some smell from the bathroom which seemed to be due to a missing siphon (as noted by other reviews). It was not too bothersome and we got around it by running the exhaust all the time 3. The apartment was on the 3rd floor in a building without an elevator. Wasn't a big concern for our group but something that should be noted. 4. The air conditioning in the apartment made a fairly loud draining noise every couple of minutes which I reported to the host and expect that the host will get it fixed very soon.

Great location, comfortable studio.

Modern apartment with everything one might need for a short stay. It has a good size, a great bed. The location is excelent, near the funicular train and the Lugano train station and also near restaurants, markets and also Lake Lugano. The check-in is fairly easy.

Very unstable wi-fi connection. I couldn't work properly. Also, the apartment is on the 4th floor and there's no elevators, so it's a bit hard to bring all your bags in and out. There's a lot of noise on the streets even at night.

Overall is the location is excellent, centrally located surrounded by shops. Overall it was very good.

The kitchen sink is half sized—too small to even wash plates, the kitchen tap was loose, the standing fan didn’t provide much cool air, bathroom is very small.

Cosy studio apartment

Excellent location in the centre of the town close to train station (via funicular) & bus station.

This apartment was on the 2nd floor. Another apartment by the same company on the 4th floor. No lift/elevator in the building. Maybe I didn’t read the details properly but we weren’t aware of there being no elevator. It was okay for us but could be difficult for someone else. The auto lock sometimes doesn’t work. It was impossible to keep the windows open due to how close the other building is but I think that because this is in the charming old part of the city with narrow lanes & buildings close to each other. The apartment is advertised as a 1 bedroom apartment (to me that means a separate room in the apartment identified as a bedroom) but it’s actually a studio apartment. There isn’t a separate bedroom.

The stove was very disappointing. The main switch kept on ‘tripping’. If i use more than 1 ring or the temperature is high. So quite impossible to cook 2-3dishes at one time and a long wait , the stove need to cool down before it will work again. The shower cubicle is also a challenge to get in. The openings are small and the edges of the shower handles are sharp. The toilet is not recommended for plus size tenants. The key code was a problem. Have to call n wait for staff to reconfigure the system

Very good

Nice location. We arrived in Lugano via Bernina Express bus. It was and easy walk from the bus drop off to the train station, where we took the venicular lift to the center. The apartment is adjacent to H&M and Telada stores. We had some issues with the remote access not working but Nader came to our rescue and got it all working. He recommended Mauri Concept as the best place for croissants and they lived up to his suggestion. There isn't an elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up 4 flights of stairs to the apartment. Not a big deal for us but others could struggle.

Good location but needs some fine-tuning.

The outside door and the apartment opening system was not working, so we just received one set of keys which made our movements very difficult. Also there is no elevator which makes moving luggage difficult.

Pulizia impeccabile, posizione molto vantaggiosa in pieno centro e facilmente raggiungibile, fornitura di cucina soddisfacente, wi-fi stabile e veloce, letto comodo e spazioso, stanza in generale spaziosa e confortevole.

4° piano senza ascensore e con scala stretta non molto comoda per bagagli ingombranti, mancavano luci da comodino, asciugacapelli non funzionante.

Poderiam ser mais explicativos e educativos com a questão do lixo. Pois Lugano por ser uma cidade na Suíça tem regras rígidas e bem diferentes das nossas em questão ao lixo. Ficamos um pouco perdidos com isso
