Large comfortable room. Very well equipped property in great location.

Great location right next to the church and opposite dick Mack’s and the Fishbox, but very quiet and undisturbed. Massive room with view over dingle bay. Large comfortable bed also a decent dining style table to sit at in the room. Spotlessly clean. Decent bathroom, shower and quality toiletries provided. Well equipped kitchen downstairs with kitchen ware, cutlery, mugs and glasses, coffee machine kettle, microwave and hob. Grand table to sit at and comfortable lounge area with selection of books. Tea and coffee facilities also in the room (and purple snacks!) and a decent hairdryer. Free parking area, a godsend as Dingle can get so busy. A very good place to base yourself in town centre.

Only one thing, it was a very chilly wet and windy weekend. There was no heating on in the room when we checked in at 4 although the common areas were warm. We fiddled with the controls on the large radiator under the bay window but could not get it to work the room remained Baltic and it was very cold all night with no extra blankets provided. I had to stay fully dressed and was still freezing! Not sure if it’s supposed to be on a timer but didn’t come on at all. I would only stay again in the summer time.

The location and the parking were good.

The keypad for entry didn’t work. Fortunately, a sweet woman helped us to figure it out, but we were apprehensive about going out, in case we couldn’t get back in. We did not feel like the fact that we had a SKELETON key to get in and out was very safe. Not too secure. We ran out of toilet paper and there wasn’t another roll in the room. Also, no tissues, towels were ragged, sink was too small and the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

The view from our window was gorgeous. Super comfy bed. Biggest shower/bathroom on our whole trip. location was superb easy walking distance to all the shops. Felt very safe. Easy check in. The couple we were to travel with had to cancel their trip and the Cloisters were very understanding and refunded us for that stay. Would stay there again in a heartbeat

A great location

The location of this acccommadation is absolutely fantastic. Right in the centre of dingle. They have free parking too which is great. It’s also nice and quiet at night. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable

My main issue was you couldn’t lock the door to the room from the inside. Which left me feeling uneasy sleeping at night. Also the toilet when flushed made an incredibly loud noise that lasted a few seconds.

Great location with a huge parking lot for our rental car. It was centrally located,but also in a quiet area.

The shower is slow to drain. It is not as bad as others have claimed. It does not impact the function of the shower, but it definitely pools up water slightly when in use.

Wonderful stay in this airBnB next to the church and conveniently in town, walkable to everything.

Great location, walking distance to everything on main street and down to harbor too. Spacious and spotless second floor room and bathroom. Lovely shared kitchenette area and lounge on first floor, you can eat at the dining table. Also plenty of coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Don’t need a car to get around.

Disappointing

Good location, lovely room BUT…..

…..wifi code provided did not work. A piece of paper updating new code 2 hours later. Shower literally dribbled so no shower in the morning!!! Toilet didn’t flush…again only contact is via email so no response…had to leave as time sensitive the next day. Finally a response but we were 30minutes into our journey. For the price super upset but you take it on the chin!!!!

Room was lovely. I didn't use your wi-fi as I worked from my own 4G. I was surprised that it's so hard to find breakfast in Dingle before 8am (I was on working trip). Location was ideal for my needs. Thank you.

Cute and clean room with a great view (room 2). Comfortable bed and pillows. Large bathroom with nice shower. Very close walking distance to all the shops and pubs. Quiet, for the most part..all I had to do was close the window. Would stay again in the same room.

I didn’t like how the check-in wasn’t until 4pm and the check-out was at 10am exactly. When I was packing up and didn’t leave until 10:05am, there was a man that tried to open the door exactly at 10am to see if I had left yet. I’ve never had that happen before anywhere else I’ve stayed. So I thought that was a little weird and rude. I also didn’t care for the room key and lock. I get they are trying to be cute/unique with using an old style key, but it was a little annoying trying to lock and unlock the door with it. The door isn’t very soundproof either. So you can hear your neighbor or they can hear you if you’re talking. Lastly, there was one drinking cup that was dirty.

I couldn't get a proper night's sleep, because of constant noise during the night. Internal noise, maybe the water heating system, maybe something to do with solar panels? I don't know the cause exactly - no staff around to ask. I have stayed in the Cloisters before ( in 2023 and 2024), and I really like it. But if I can't get a proper night's sleep, I won't be going back.

Enjoyable stay right in the heart of Dingle.

Location was fantastic. Loved the fact that the room had a smart television. Building was very clean. Window was able to open far enough to give us plenty of air on a warm summer evening.

I didn't love the fact that the light in the bathroom was motion sensitive and that the motion sensor couldn't pick up when you were in the shower. Thankfully the little window above the door allowed some light in or I would have been showering in complete darkness. I would also advise that in the summer rather than one big quilt being on the bed there would be layers of sheets that people can throw off depending on how warm it is.

Great central property in Dingle

We struggled initially to get into the property using the codes sent to us, but eventually managed. The Cloisters offered a modern room with a great corner panoramic window enabling us to see across the town & countryside. Everything was very clean, modern & comfortable. The property did not offer breakfast, but there was a kitchen downstairs with crockery/cutlery, a fridge & a decent coffee machine for guests to prepare their own breakfast...& there are plenty of cafes & restaurants around town. Although The Cloisters was in the centre of town it was very quiet, even with the windows open. Dingle, the peninsula & the Slea Head Drive were a treat to visit - so much to see.

Superb!

We did not actually meet any staff, but all communications were clear and they were very quick to answer any questions. Our room was excellent: Large, airy, good size on suite bathroom. No breakfast included but there was a very nice area downstairs to sit and eat your own supplies. It is also so central that there is a plethora of places to grab food at all times of the day.
