Best Place in Dingle Daingean Uí Chúis Abú!

This was a wonderful stay and I know for sure I'll be back to An Capall Dubh! The family run establishment is in the heart of Dingle and they are so informative, helpful and a real real real joy to deal with. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and very reasonably priced as the location and breakfast are top quality.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. Happy to provide plenty of advice for things to do in the local area. The bed was extremely comfy and the room was large. Excellent breakfast provided.

Quite noisy when people were walking around on floorboards. Even when trying to be quiet it was easy to make and hear a lot of noise coming from neighbouring rooms. Carpeting or laying a few rugs would certainly help alleviate this I’m sure.

Great location in middle of the action but quiet and secluded.

Great location right in the midst of the "action" in town but felt secluded due to the design of the property. Having reserved, protected parking was very valuable! Very nice, helpful staff. We had a medical emergency which meant we may have needed to stay an extra night but they were fully booked so they worked to creatively offer us an alternative solution which was very generous of them. Food was great.

The location was great for the bars and restaurants. The security was good as well.

The room was ok, the TV didn't work and the bathroom mirror was teeny tiny. There is no "reception", so no one was onsite until breakfast the next morning, which is at 0800. Pay close attention to the cancellation policy. I booked on September 27th and could not cancel for a refund on September 28th due to the 30 day cancellation notice. I didn't see this policy until after I confirmed my booking. I would recommend visitors shop around, as there are many, many choices on Dingle.

Location was great. Secure private parking was great. It was clean and breakfast was very good.

Unlike the typical B & B , it was very impersonal. No one ever talked to us until we were leaving. We could only guess who the owners were. The bathroom was tiny with a mirror so small it was almost unusable, and there was no place to set toiletries. The bathroom could use updating.

Wonderful family run facility, hostess extremely warm and knowledgeable, great recommendations, wonderful breakfasts, stayed three nights. Town is pretty touristy but we got out into the countryside quite a bit and men happily played golf. Lots to see and do in the area. heard a great concert at the Church. Highly recommend.

An Capal Dubh is nestled in the center of town, and very walkable to all shops, sights, pubs/eateries in Dingle town. The breakfasts were amazing with fresh and homemade bread, cook to order eggs, a choice for each day! The gated lot was easy to use and the patio garden was a quiet respite. Most of all we loved the generous and kind spirit of the family who run this inn. We appreciate all you did to make our stay incredibly special and memorable!

We loved everything! Wish we could have stayed theee for our entire Dingle trip! The accommodations were comfy and clean and adorable. In town but nice and quiet. Awoke to sheep one morning and gentle cows in the field the next. Warm and attentive staff (family owned and operated-I’m sure adds to care and pride). Walk to everything. Would recommend to anyone. Also amazing g breakfast. Just perfect!

Our hosts, the Curran family, were wonderful about communication before & during our stay. They gave us great tips on places to visit and restaurants. The part of An Capall Dubh we stayed in (the family’s former home) was beyond beautiful, full of character and so comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. Centrally located — we could walk all over Dingle. We could also hop in our car and be on the Slea Head drive in minutes. Spacious, private, safe parking area.

Highly recommend

I've been coming to Dingle on holiday for years. An Capall Dubh is the nicest accommodation I've stayed in, only discovered it this year. Room was spotless. Breakfast was fabulous - I recommend the boost bowl. Lovely to be situated in the heart of the town and not have to worry about parking. Beds very comfortable and warm. Perfect!

Bathroom was tiny. Having to go downstairs to get a drink of anything including water. Room very hot with just a small fan for relief. Left the windows open and had the noise of a party going on in one of the houses.
