Top End Knokke Stay

Welcoming smiles in a 5 Star venue. Knokke at its best ! La Rigue, the Bar, the Wellness all at top level.

The pool area. When I arrived a Saturday afternoon at around 17h30 most beds were empty but abandoned with with towels . Empty water bottles, fruit rests… I could not find an empty clean one. In between guests cleaning should be absolutely organized. A pity because the pool and pool area is great.

Nice upgrade to junior suite. Good staffing. Nice fruit offering in the room. Well informed via emails. Easy pre-check-in.

Breakfast, as good as it was, a bit on the expensive side. Massage facilities? Could have offered more bottled water in the room.

Great location, great facilities, for that price per night, the service level is poor

Room, Swimming pool, Sauna, health club, terrace and bar on Ground Floor, concierge team with parking my car back and forth, David especially.

When you pay EUR500 a night in an hotel which has the ambition of being top of the class, you don't have to ask three times to have towels for the room, or if you have an extra guest (our daughters joined last minute) you should not have to cry about getting an additional coupon for the welcome drink? we are having two rooms, the fact it's two or three guests in two rooms, doesn't matter, it's max 4, so it 4 welcome drinks. If you compare to other hotels (last one was W in Edinburgh) in the same price range, when you ask for an additional drink, they offer you the bottle actually. Anyway, it was petty tight attitude and overall poor communication such as that Call at 11h05 : Aggressive :"Hello, we remind you the check out is at 11h00". Another way of asking could be :"With regards to your check out, would you like me to send someone to help with your luggage?". So, overall, great facilities, great location, service is Novotel Level.

Stunning Design, But the Experience Falls Short of Five-Star Expectations

The hotel is absolutely beautiful — both the exterior and interior are styled to perfection. The design truly stands out and creates a luxurious atmosphere. We received a lovely room upgrade upon arrival, which was a great surprise and made our stay more enjoyable. The location is fantastic — central enough to enjoy the surroundings. Housekeeping was excellent — everything was very clean and well-maintained.

Upon arrival, there was no clear valet or welcome, and we had to find the reception ourselves — not the arrival you'd expect at a five-star hotel. Our room was near the elevator and very noisy due to poor soundproofing. The restaurant La Réserve had disappointing service: very small wine pours, several mistakes, and inexperienced (though friendly) young staff. This really impacted the overall experience. The pillow menu wasn’t available, even though it's advertised — the hotel was fully booked, so we had no other pillow options despite the very soft standard ones. The spa was overcrowded, and the valet service had long wait times.

Only one area was a little dark and slightly less inviting and that was the bar seating area. Just a personal preference for it to be a little brighter. Others may absolutely like it as it is.

The location is good. The valet parking service is perfect. The rooms are quite big.

The hotel is “soulless”. The price of the breakfast is not compliant with the quality of food (no organic food, especially yoghurt, local producers). AC in the room was not efficient.

One of the better 4-star hotels in Knokke area, with understaffed and undertrained catering service.

Nice hotel that evokes luxury. Comfortable rooms. One of the better hotels in the larger Knokke area.

Catering could've been better. It seems staff at breakfast and bar were in education. Very willing to help, but inefficient and on times clumsy. It took ages to get two drinks served at the bar. Breakfast area clearly lacks capacity when the hotel is fully booked.

1) Not friendly for the family with small kids: for example, there is no swimming pool for the small kids. Only the rooms with a king size bed are provided. If you would like to live with your small kids, you should reserve another hotels. They don't have a standard room with 2 beds 2) The equipments in the rooms are so old and need to be updated and the rooms should be renovated: The light control are difficult to use, no plug-in close to the bed. If you need to charge your mobile phone, you should go to the bath room. 3) The quality of food and the service in the restaurant is great, but the price is so expensive. 4)Some mistakes on the invoice, but the hotel corrected it very quickly and efficiently Overall, it provides you the service of a 4 stars hotel but charges you the price of 5 stars hotel.

spa accommodation is amazing and very beautiful. the rooms are big with a comfortable bed. I would recommend going to the restaurant. the food and staff are amazing.

Seems like the accommodation is old. the furniture doesn’t fit the room. sofa in the room is very uncomfortable.

One of the most traditional Belgian hotels and it's worth a try

The hotel is very well maintained and well decorated. Restaurant is beautiful, food was delicious and the waiters were lovely. The room was comfortable and had good amenities. But the high point for me was the staff: they were gentle, always with a smile and ready to help. The guys at the reception were fabulous. We ended up staying one more day and coming back twice in the next couple weeks. I would highly recommend.

I don't remember anything I didn't like. Everything was nice.
