Het vriendelijke ontvangst, mooie kamers en het lekkere ontbijt.
De parking was, omwille van de werken, moeilijk te vinden.
De kamers waren aan de kleine kant.

almost everything especially the dark haired host that was very, very nice but
I got a strange request of parking my car better however the parking was 90% empty and as my car is 5.50 m long I had parked him especially not completely following the lines so that he would not disturb other car coming on the parking. So this request from somebody of the personnel seemed absolutely not needed and caused some small irritation when I moved the car and saw he could not disturb anybody.

The rooms were good, quiet and comfortable so it's a shame that the hotel is employing staff that can destroy a pleasant experience with a poor attitude.
The breakfast was included in the price, but we were unable to enjoy it due to timing. We were rather rudely told by the reception staff that because this is a "family" hotel, breakfast could not be served before 8:30, at the time we had to leave. We could have least been told that a coffee machine and some biscuits were available in the room, and our expectation for a four star hotel was that the staff could have made an effort to provide some pastries to the room at an earlier time. At any rate, I noticed on our departure at 8:30 that the food offered in the restaurant was very basic. I should also add that the lady managing our checkout was much more pleasant and friendly so I would not generalize.
Yet another incident with the same staff person occurred because he did not bother explaining clearly how the code system worked to enter the hotel with the room badge (after entering the code you have to press a nearly invisible "key" button).
I checked TripAdvisor's comments after we left and we found that we were not the first persons to have noticed the staff problem.
