Great stay! Tripo was really helpful, letting us check in early and booking us a taxi for a good price. The room was very clean with nice extras like shower gel and a brew kit. Balcony view was amazing – perfect for a morning coffee watching the cruise ships come in. Location was spot on too, about 15 mins to the Old Town and a nice bakery nearby. Highly recommend!

Amazing views!!

Our stay at Green Home apartments was phenomenal! The view is even better than the pictures. The apartment was clean and had everything you might need. The balcony was perfect for sitting and enjoying the bay at any time. The host was so welcoming and provided a ton of recommendations on things to do in the area- it was so helpful. We really enjoyed his hospitality! We mainly picked this place for the location- it was about a 15 min walk to old town so no need for car (if you’ve been here you would know that traffic and parking is a nightmare). We parked our car at the apartment and didn’t need to use it since we left. It’s a short walk up a hill to the apartment (3min) and the rest is all on the main flat road to old town. There were small markets and bakeries nearby. Everything was very convenient!

Just be aware of the short, but narrow uphill drive to the apartment- this is typical of this region. Not a bad thing, just an fyi

Green Home Apartments enjoys a great location with magnificent views across Kotor Bay to the Old Town. Our apartment had

Our apartment was beautifully presented and spotless on arrival. The facilities to the apartment are good with the kitchen generally being well equipped. The apartment has very effective air conditioning and there is free access to a washing communal machine. We didn’t use the TV. Our host, Tripo, was simply amazing. Our communication before our arrival was excellent and Tripo sent us a huge number of recommendations and helpful information. He was readily available throughout our stay and is incredibly friendly, he couldn’t do enough for us.

Some of this is our own fault for not choosing carefully enough, but the apartment was not quite what we were expecting. We had a split level studio apartment at the rear of the property. There was a limited view of the bank at the rear of the property and no balcony. Be clear on what you are booking as apartments on the front had both balconies and a magnificent view across Kotor bay, which is one of the big draws of Green Home Apartments. Internally, our biggest issue was the mezzanine sleeping area. It isn’t tall enough to stand up in and you have to stoop or kneel. There are two double beds, but if you are on the far side of each you have to crawl across the bed, not great when there are two of you and the sloping roof comes down nearly to the foot of the bed. This should be more clearly represented in the photos. The polished wood stairs to the mezzanine are very steep and there are no hand rails, making the stairs challenging, especially at night. There are a lot of steps up to the property, although Tripo helped with our cases both into and out of the property. There is a fair walk round the bay to the old town and beaches; it’s pleasant enough but take care as part of the walk has no pavement. Aside from the difficult sleeping area, and the lack of view which was down to us, we found the apartment very comfortable.

Excellent value and great location

The apartment was well equipped (washing machine, dishwasher, dining table, cookware, ironing board, big closets) and looked exactly like the photos. The apartment is also less than a minute walk from the water, and 7 minute walk from the old town of Kotor. Tripo (our host) was extremely engaging and helpful and made our stay even more memorable.

Well located close to Kotor town in a quiet area but an easy 15 minutes walk to the center and old town. Superb views across Kotor Bay from the apartment.

The room was fantastic - spotless, cozy, and comfortable. The view from the balcony overlooking the lake was stunning. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was our host, Tripo. He was incredibly warm, generous, and welcoming.

Truly special.

My mom and I had a truly amazing stay in Tripo’s green home apartments. His hospitality and kindness during our stay was second to none. He provided us with ample recommendations and discounts for local attractions. The apartment itself was perfect. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. It was perfectly located just 10-15 flat walk to the old town and close to many small swimming spots along the bay. It also has a seated area outside with lots of lovely plants and flowers. We would definitely recommend Tripo’s apartments to any family & friends and we can’t wait to return!!

So clean and very good location

The cleanest house ever stayed at. Tripo, the owner had thought everything for the guests and apartment is well equipped including sanitary bag, fire extinguishers,iron, kitchenware , umbrella, tea coffee toothpaste etc. Location is good. For 4 people the first floor is offered and doesnt have sea view but upper floors have beautiful view. Kotor center is 10 min walk. Thanks to Tripo for his hospitality. He also recommended nice places to visit which we enjoyed. If vizit Kotor again will certainly choose this house to stay.

Evenings out in the nearby old town are lovely

Tripo was an excellent host! Both available and discreet, he provided us with clean, functional accommodation. We felt that he loved to welcome and share. As soon as we arrived, he put us at ease and gave us all the information we needed to make the most of our stay! Thank you Tripo and we wish you every success in your magnificent project!

The best stay & host - 10/10!!

The apartment was immaculately clean Perfect location just a short walk to the old town but away enough for tranquility & secure parking. We adored the balcony views of the bay and the apartment garden. Tripo was an exceptional host sending us the best places to eat, drink & shop. Even sorted out our boat tour.

Great location, comfortable and clean.

Apartment is exceptionally clean and comfortable with an amazing balcony and view, Tripo was so helpful with our late arrival and continued recommendations and local tips. Driveway is steep but easy to acces and park. 10min easy walk from Kotor, way nicer than being in the busy streets there! Kitchen is simple but well equipped, handy having tupperware we could take snacks out on a hike too. I would 100% recommend staying here 😍

The stairs up the sleeping area are steep so just take care!

The perfect home base for Kotor

This place was amazing!! The view off the balcony is something you just need to see for yourself as photos don't do it justice. It's an easy 15 min walk along the bay to get to the old town and Tripo offered us parking in the driveway for our rental car. Tripo was amazing and let us check in early plus he sent tons of awesome recommendations for restaurants, places to go, and tours. The apartment itself was super clean, comfortable, and spacious for 2 friends.

There is construction work being done just across the street from the apartment so it was a little noisy when sitting on the balcony.

I had a fantastic 3-night stay at Green Home Apartments in Kotor! The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location was peaceful yet close to the Old Town and all the main sights. Tripo, the owner, was absolutely fantastic — so friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with great local tips. Just WOW!!!

Just got back from the most incredible trip, and The Green Home Apartments made our holiday! Our apartment had everything we could possibly ask for and more, including the most beautiful view of the lake from the balcony. Everything you need is walking distance, including the Old Town. The host of The Green Home Apartments is so accommodating, lovely and helpful. I honestly can not rate this highly enough and would recommend to anyone. We will absolutely be returning!

Comfortable base in Kotor Bay

We decided to make our base in Kotor for the convenience of being close to the old town, where many options for restaurants for dinner can be found. From there, we took side trips to different spots and towns during the day. With that in mind, the Green House presented itself as a great option for the below reasons: 1) the owner: Tripo was great!!! He was very welcoming in our arrival and provided several tips for places to go and eat. He was very attentive to our needs and even offered us a private parking spot on the premises (is hard to get a spot in the narrow roads in the area). 2) location: it is easy to walk to Kotor's old town, which can be reached in 15 min (see marked picture). We stayed away from the busy areas while enjoying the great view of the bay and mountains. There is a close by Pekara (bakery) with freshly baked products all day long 3) the view: the bay, the mountains and the cruise ships coming and going are a plus, especially from the room we've got (upper floor) - see pictures 4) the facilities: while we did not eat on the premises, but the apartment has a well-equipped kitchen (large fridge) if needed and a dining table. The apartment has AC, which makes things quite comfortable. We were given a key and remote control to the property gates so coming and going on foot or by car was a breeze. 5) quality of sleep: we slept quite well, with good queen size mattress (not common in hotels in Europe) and comfy bedding

Considering the were in the upper floor, we thought the head space in the loft bed was a bit tight (just because I'm 6'4"tall - 1.9 m). While we could sleep downstairs in the sofa bed, we decided to stay cozy in the loft, and got used to it during the 3 nights. The access to the parking area is a bit steep (not uncommon in the area) but with the concrete floor, it did not represent a significant challenge. The hot water tank could be a bit bigger but between the two of us, we spaced our showers, and all was good.

Aparmtent was eautiful and in really great location. Great view on sea and surrounding mountains. Tripo was such an amazing host. He was super responsive and helpful for all our requests and questions. Additionally, he gave us so many tips to enjoy our stay in Kotor. Definitely recomended!

An exceptionally well-organised house in the best accessible and tranquil location in Kotor.

If you're considering where to stay in Kotor, please read this. This property is located on the quiet side of the bay. Whereas the Old Town is crowded and noisy, this property is accessible to it while giving a tranquil atmosphere and majestic views and lots of open swimming areas in the bay! Nice, spacious rooms, well-equipped and clean kitchen, clean bathroom and good washing machine and shower. Staff - The owner went out of his way to help us with recommendations and check everything was fine. He and his wife were both professional and friendly. We would certainly stay here again.

Amazing view from the balcony! Wonderful host. Clean and cosy apartment. At walking distance from the old town (15 min).

The location is great for the view of the bay and the city. The only downside is the first part of the road to the centre, which is a bit dangerous for pedestrians. Then, there is a sidewalk and it becomes ok.

Jelena is an amazing host, very friendly - she made sure I had a good holiday and took further steps many times to help me. It is 10 -15 mins walking distance to Kotor centre. There is a market, bakery and a restaurant nearby. Also you may choose to swim in one of the local beaches/patios in front of the street. Balcony has amazing views, one can write a novel there. I will definitely recommend to all my friends

There wasn’t a lift but staff helped me carrying my luggages. It is worth the view.
