The warmest welcome in Santorini

We had the most wonderful stay in the Lioyerma Windmill, where we had amazing views of the wonderful Oia sunset from the privacy of our private terrace. Manos and his team were kind and generous hosts and took care of our every need. Manos arranged our transfers and was waiting to welcome us and show us around, even though we arrived very late at night. Nothing was too much trouble and Manos was always checking that we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. When we weren't lounging in our private hot tub, our favourite place to be was at the wonderful pool bar, which was super fun and our lovely and super attentive hosts brought us delicious cocktails to the pool side. Our 6 year old says it is one of the best places he's ever been! We agree and will definitely stay longer on our next visit. Thank you so much xx

Once in a lifetime experience.

Amazing location and view. Host was very attentive to all of our needs and even pre-made breakfast on our last morning to accommodate an early flight. Sat in the hot tub and watched the sunset with a glass of wine - magical.

Just understand it’s a windmill and getting up and down between rooms is not easy. Also be aware that everyone wants a picture of your digs. It’s as close to feeling like being under the eye of the paparazzi as I will ever get.

Everything about this property is really good, location is best .. best sunset view !! what you want more- you are sitting in hottub and viewing best sunset of Oia sipping wine or a cocktail !! Breakfast was really good ,it was delivered at your place when you want and there was good options for breakfasts as well. Manos- the host was really helpful, he contacted us before reaching there and guided us on everything till we reach hotel. He made sure everything is in place. He suggested us lot of things ..things to eat , things to explore ! He made sure our stay is comfortable and enjoyable. I will recommend this property for best views and experience in Oia.

The rooms and specially the stairs to go to rooms are not for older people as it is not safe but it is expected as you will be leaving in actual windmill !!

Location for the sunset was Perfect, the history of the windmills makes it a once in a lifetime experience. Rooms were really clean and staff were so helpful and accommodating .

Not for everyone

Breakfast was amazing , the view was great however it was very windy when we went. swimming pool was good but it was too cold to use it in April.

My mum had an accident whilst going down the stairs and felt way too claustrophobic to stay for the night so we decided not to stay and only had breakfast the next day. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has mobility issues or is a bit bigger. Mind you, my mom never gets claustrophobic but because of the accident we did not feel it was safe enough to stay there.

The location of the accommodation was outstanding, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast service, which was conveniently delivered right to my room. It was a delightful way to start the day, enjoying a delicious meal while taking in the stunning scenery. As a guest at the property, I also appreciated the great service provided at the pool area, including reserved sun loungers. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that guests had a relaxing and enjoyable time. Of course, one of the absolute highlights of staying at Lioyerma Windmill Villa & Pool was the phenomenal view of the famous sunset. It truly exceeded all expectations and left a lasting impression.

The firmness of the beds was not to our personal preference. I understand that different individuals have varying preferences when it comes to mattress firmness, but a slightly softer option, especially in the Sofa bed on the lower floor, could enhance the overall comfort level for guests and especially

There were two tiny windows on the top floor. No other windows. The floorspace was very small. Far too small for 4 guests. It should not have been let to four guests. The rooms were joined by a tight and dangerous ladder. Thus no views and no room.

Unique and picture worthy stay

Manos met us upon our arrival. He could not have been more accommodating. The windmill itself is a beautiful and unique stay. The view of the sunset for one of the two private terraces was spectacular! Uninstructed and above the crowds of people. The sunset drink was a wonderful bonus and the breakfast huge!! The pool was ours to use alone until 12 and after sunset which was another great perk! Highly recommended!!!!

As a family we could not come up with any downside to the property. If you have mobility issues perhaps this is not the place for you.

The location and private balcony to watch the sunset and sunrise were wonderful- the view is astonishingly beautiful and the breakfast was delightful each morning. Great coffee! The climate control worked well too.

The beds in the apartment were terrible.. literally SO uncomfortable. The pillows were thin and flat and the mattress was like sleeping on cement. Our travelled, mid 30’s bodies were aching by the end of our stay.

One of the most unforgettable places we’ve ever stayed!

Location location location—Could not be beat! We had our own deck to watch the sunset. And we had the pool deck onto ourselves for our breakfast. Manos and margarita were terrific and made our stay superb.

Because the room is in a windmill the stairs between floors is difficult to manage. Especially when you have to go downstairs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night! But it was worth it to stay in such a unique and special place. We’ve never stayed in the windmill before and the views are incredible.

The windmill is just beautiful and super cosy. The view is amazing : you feel like living in a postcard :-). The pool bar is very fancy. Manos was a great attentive guest. Very good breakfast with a lot of choices as well.

Be careful the staircase to access lower and upper bedroom is very steep. Not recommended is you have mobility issues.

Excellent, would stay again! The opportunity to sleep in a windmill should not be missed!

We loved our stay in the windmill! Amazing location, at a quieter end of Oia, but you can very quickly get to all the restaurants and shops while still feeling like you are separated a little from the crowds. The windmill has two seating areas outside, with a perfect view of the sunset and the sea. Manos and the staff at Lioyerma were wonderful, so thoughtful and helpful and you have access to the pool during your stay. We also used the ferry port and airport transfer option, which was an easy and helpful choice. Breakfast was excellent too!

If you have mobility issues you may find it a challenge to get up and down the stairs inside the windmill (but there are plenty of handrails and it was fine for us!)

Un endroit magnifique loin de la foule. Calme et sérénité.

La situation dans le village de Oia. Tous les soirs face au coucher de soleil. La singularité de la chambre qui se situe dans le moulin. Manos notre hôte, qui est aux petits soins pour nous . Ils nous a donné de très bonnes adresses, tous les jours un mot pour savoir si tout va bien. Le petit déjeuner copieux sur la terrasse face à la caldeira. Je recommande cet établissement.
