Fab host great location

The host was fabulous nothing was too much trouble. The house is in a good location just a few minutes walk to the main town and had everything you would need for a self catering stay within the property. The property was clean and comfy.

Great location, and the perfect sized house for our group. The large kitchen diner is the heart of the house and a great space for entertaining. The extra touches from the host on our arrival were appreciated. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Amazing house and owner!

Everything about the property was fantastic. We’ve traveled all over the world in multiple Airbnbs/rentals and it’s very seldom we come across such a helpful, willing, going of their way, and just all round welcoming owner. Not only did she accept a last minute 9pm booking, she drove over to get the house ready for us as well as stopping to get our kids Easter eggs and make sure the heating was on for us with a pint of milk ready after a horrible storm tore through our campsite and we were wet cold and had nowhere to stay with our kids and dog. All of this on top of the fact that the house itself was clean, stocked, and a perfect layout for 2 families to share! Pretty much everything you need for kids and a dog also! We’d 100% stay here again and would recommend to anyone staying in newquay. Parking was easy and we could fit 2 campers and a car! Walk into town and the beach super easy! If you’re wondering about booking here, just do it! You won’t regret it!

Awful

Pool table was great and the shower

The property was so run down inside and outside and location, really needs a good clean and painting. Standards we so poor, couldn’t sit outside as furniture broke and damaged, green moss everywhere so very slippy… dead flies inside the light shade, spider cobwebs with nests inside, beds only small, the capers were awful and the paint work and door handles were so dirty and marked, it was dirty! The windows down stairs cracked, the heating was on a set timer 2 hours of a night and 2 hours of a morning so was very cold as it’s a big old house. I was shocked how this can be let out and for the price. Kitchen dirty and cupboards all marked, oven all dirty and not cleaned. I will attach photos. Definitely wouldn’t stay again.

Great Newquay stay. Close to amenities and suitable for families and adults alike.

Conveniently located for the town centre, restaurants, and beach, all within a short walking distance. Off road parking for two cars, and slept 6 adults in our case. The accommodation has two double bedrooms and two singles both with bunk beds. Two bathrooms both with showers. Inside the house is generously sized, newly decorated, and has a large pool table that doubles up as the Kitchen table. There are also board games available, and an internet-enabled TV. The Kitchen is also well equipped.

Not much to add. The exterior decoration is a work in progress, but safe and quiet. Contrary to other reviews, there was no welcome pack of wines etc, despite the elevated September/staycation pricing.

Great location, large, spacious well apointed house - FULL SIZE POOL TABLE - very pleased

The house is in an ideal location, literally 5 minutes walk to the start of Newuqay town, less than 15 minutes to the nearest beach and 20 mins walk to Fistral Beach and very quiet (except for the seagulls - but what would you expect!). The interior of the house is large, spacious and very well appointed, the rooms all tastefully decorated, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need including a large fridge freezer and dishwasher - both bathrooms have a shower which was great with us being 6 adults. The full size pool table was a real bonus, especially on our first full day when it poured with rain! There are also plenty of box / board games as well as books and playing cards. On arrival was a very nice personalised welcome letter and contact information as well as a couple of bottles of wine and wonderful Cornish clotted cream shortbread biscuits! We would definatley recommend.

On arrival the exterior did make us feel a little uneasy - however the welcome letter explaned this is a 'work in progress' - so don't be put off - inside is great! The ladies said at least one full length mirror in the downstairs bedrooms area would be useful and maybe a shaving mirror in the downstairs bathroom. The internet was intermitant, not the fault of the house, there are more than enough good quality network extenders; we think it is is maybe just not a good internet area (poor 4G coverage also) - the main impact was despite all the TVs (3 of them) had Firesticks connected, the internet was often to poor for them to be of use - watching the England v Germany Euro 2020 game was very furstrating as the Firestick kept buffering - by the time England scored on 75 minutes we were still on 70 minutes and heard the cheers going up from the neighbours! - not really a big issue for us as we were 6 adults, but maybe a free view arial would be a good investment in case anybody has bored children that can't watch TV?

Good location , welcome pack of wines and biscuits. Large rooms, kids loved the full size pool table. Good size kitchen with all you need. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 children. Katy was very helpful and made sure we had all we needed
