About this apartment rental

Sunny Corner is a new, comfortable and homely apartment near the centre of the picturesque coastal village of Crantock. It is just 10 minutes walk from the beach and the village shops, cafe and pub. It sleeps 4 to 5 people and has driveway parking for one car. It has a beautifully sunny decked area, which lives up to its name!

The main living area comprises of a large and spacious open plan sitting room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The large windows and south facing French doors means it is often flooded by the light and warmth of the sunshine, which makes it an ideal place to completely relax and unwind. The large double glass doors lead out to the South facing decked area which is sheltered from the onshore breezes creating a perfect sun trap for soaking up the Cornish sunshine. The decked area is equipped with table and 4 chairs for outside dining. With the doors pinned open, "Sunny Corner" provides the perfect opportunity for inside/outside living.

The property has a fully equipped kitchen with all you need, including a microwave, oven and hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and plenty of storage cupboards.

The dining area has a wooden extending table which can seat 4-6 people. (The pictures show the table un-extended - there are two additional leaves which can be pulled out). There is also a high chair provided

The living area has a large 3 seater sofa and a single armchair, and is equipped with a digital TV (with freeview) and HDMI connectors (so guests can connect their personal laptops to the TV to watch DVDs, iplayers etc).

There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom has a double bunk bed with single bunk on top. A travel cot is provided.

The bedrooms are equipped with chest of drawers and black out curtains ensuring a comfortable and restful night’s sleep.

The bathroom is ensuite (situated between the two bedrooms with Jack and Jill doors to both bedrooms). It has a bath, an over-bath electric shower, WC, washbasin with overhead light with electric shaving point and a heated towel rail.

The apartment also has laundry facilities including iron, ironing board, washing machine and airing racks. Guests have sole use of the lockable garage which provides plenty of space to securely store surfboards, bikes, etc

There is off road parking on the driveway for one car.

We also have a 4 bedroom cottage which sleeps 8 available next door so for guests who would like to holiday with friends please do enquire for more details.

    Great little property, perfect for a family of four

    A family of 3 stayed in Sunny Corner in Crantock for a week in August and had a fantastic time. The location of the property is perfect for us, 10 minute walk to the beach at Crantock and a short walk further to get to Poly Joke beach. Pubs and places to eat are in walking distance from the property. The property is open plan living area more than big enough for a family of 4. One on the biggest plus points is the attached garage, all the sand covered stuff we took to the beach could be dumped in the garage to prevent a sandy house. We would all stay again.

    The Sunny Corner cottage is located in a beautiful setting. The nearby beach is superb and the coastline, especially if you walk towards the south-west, direction Holywell beach, is truly paradisiac. Our daugther (10 yrs) just loved it. It's perfect for small families with kids as well as for surfers, as you can carry your board to the beach. The appartment was spotless clean and all we needed was there. A perfect place to forget about everyday life. Thanks Vicky for having us ! We have spent a gorgeous week in Sunny Corner.

    Good value for the money however the road can be very busy at times and the main seating was uncomfortable . Good location for exploring the beautiful village and area around Crantock.

    The flat was very nice with everything you need from cooking facilities to washing. The beach is very close, as well as the south west trail. Only the water pressure of the shower could be better. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Thank you. We would love to come back.

    We had a fabulous stay at Sunny Corner, it was a perfect base for us to return to after days out with plenty of space and everything we needed. The master bedroom has a huge bed and is very comfortable and the second bedroom also has a double bunk bed with a travel cot provided which was most useful. The lounge / kitchen diner is light and spacious too, we couldn't have asked for more. The apartment is in a perfect location with only a short walk to the most beautiful beach across a field. We decided to drive down to the National Trust car park (free for members) which made it much easier for my mother who would have struggled with the steep sand dunes and my 1 year old daughter who isn't yet walking, plus we had bags/ towels to carry! Nearby to lots of other seaside towns (within half an hours distance) we visited Perranporth, Newquay, Padstow and some of the local National Trust houses and gardens. We loved our stay and only wished that we could have been there longer. We hope to return to Sunny Corner again one day.
