Value for money, great view in penthouse apartment.

The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in (penthouse) came with 2 double beds, a kitchenette with a microwave and airfryer and kettle. Perfect for us for a 2 night stay to be able to cook up some breakfast before heading out into town. The view of the bay from the window was lovely to wake up to. Really value for money, we've paid more to stay in hotels which were less basic. Also parking came with the penthouse suite which was a bonus. The room is clean, and nicely decorated.

Lack of seating for eating. Could do with a little table and chairs.

It wasn't very good.

When I arrived there was no working phone number,and no one there to help us find our room and we couldn't find the key to our room.The email had small info.In the bathroom room we had no working light.And there were people making a lot of noise at night and they were swearing a lot and I have a child who shouldn't hear this type of language in a hotel.Also there was no receptionist to complain to.

Oyo Shore lodge

Just what my family needed for a short break. The lodge was clean with all the basics in the room.Central located within walking distance to a car park as there's no parking. Big thank you to Amin at the reception, excellent customer service.

It allowed us to see the surf contest at a close location with everything we needed.

The location was very good and we were allowed to check in early. An air fryer was a bonus for us to have in the room. The room was very clean and the fridge allowed us to keep food cold. A lot of thought has gone into the layout of the room which is unique.

Parking, but that is the town’s fault.

Very small (family) room said for adults but was tight with myself and 3 children Our room was right next to a fire exit and someone was smoking weed that made my boy throw up Our last night there the staff was taking out a broken bed from the room next door at 11pm was noisy and annoying baring in mind we had a 6hrs car journey to make the next morning

The view

AVOID IT! Not recommended. Very disappointing. The ad is misleading. No kitchen available. The toilet and shower were mouldy, dirty, and shared with other people. The room looked nothing like the pictures—it was dirty, with a full bin and unchanged bedding. When I told the receptionist, he laughed

Decent budget option with a lovely sea view

The location was good, 10 minutes walk from the train station and less than 5 minutes from the bus station. I had an en-suite double room with a sea view, the sea view was so nice!! Everything was clean, the towels were soft and they smelt really nice. It was handy having a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. It was easy to check in using the key safe. The staff I met were friendly.

There was a bit of noise from other rooms/the hallway in the evening and the curtains did not completely block out the light. I go to bed early and I am a light sleeper so I didn’t sleep that well but using an eye mask and white noise/earplugs helped and I did not hear noise during the night. The mattress was a bit soft for me. It would be good to have a bedside lamp in the room.

Clean, comfortable, 10 minute walk to town centre, parking was a 5 minute walk and was £6.40 for 24hrs can’t moan at that. Also ask the owner where the nearest bar was and gave us 2 of there own beers and said if we wanted anymore just to ask, that’s how you treat your guests 😂 thanks

Affordable, clean and friendly staff, would stay again

The property is nice, it was a very last minute booking and staff accommodated us well, great communication, lovely and friendly. Location is good and only a short stroll to the town or a few minutes in the car.

Only slight downside with our room was we had to use a communal shower and toilet, although there are several on the property so there wasn’t a fight to use them

Staff wasn't very helpful. Room wasn't very clean. No parking. Work being done in building wasn't notified of this. Definitely wasn't worth the money we paid for it. The bunk bed was very dangerous if you tried to get on top bunk the bed would tip over NOT GOOD. Didn't shower there as shower room didn't look clean. I will not be returning there.

It was extremely misleading, there was no parking, no self catering, you could only book a double bed room or a family room and the photos lied about what the facilities hold also there was mold in the bathroom the rooms where kind on clean could of paid more attention to detail like stuff under the bed

A decent place to stay with no frills attached

Good location, close to town centre. The bed was comfortable and towels were soft and fluffy. Standard double room was a fair size, and the area surrounding the BnB was nice and quiet so no noise. Also the wi-fi was good!

No hand soap in the bathroom, and there was no shower curtain on the bath so the floor gets wet when you shower. Also there was a big TV on the wall but it didn’t work, and there was no teabags provided (just coffee). In saying that, the owner did offer a free coffee on our way out which was good of him.

Windows were absolutely filthy-a shame as the lovely view disappeared behind the grime. On paying for a breakfast, I was offered a loaf of bread, a tub of butter, a jar of jam and a couple of teabags!!

Beautiful lodge

The lodge was awesome with a beautiful sea view out of the window. It was great value for money as we got a particularly good last minute deal! It was in a perfect location, right next to the town centre and had everything we needed.

The only thing disappointing, was the jacuzzi, jet bath wasn’t working on our visit which we had all got excited to use before arrival. Though we were able to use without the bubbles taps/ jets turned on. Other than that, it was brilliant!

The place was generally alright, but they have false advertising, so see my cons. The big advantage was parking available (but they do only have 3 spaces).

Okay, there's only so much I can prove, because I don't have screenshots of my booking process, but: I was given room 13 - on website it says it's en suite (it's misspelled "on suite", so is it literally just a trap?), but it's not. There's only a sink, both toilet and shower are shared. I didn't mind, but it was a let-down. Again, according to the website, there's a restaurant, but it isn't. This I did mind, because I needed to escape from my travel companions during the stay. And finally, in England, when you advertise a breakfast, it's usually full English. Hold on a minute, if there's no restaurant, where are you supposed to have your breakfast? Well, you go downstairs to the reception, choose components of your "continental" breakfast and bring them to your room (which is small and there's no table) for consumption. And this is just going by what they advertise on their website, not what were my expectations. So, buyer (or booker?) beware.
