It was exceptional throughout! You could not possibly write a bad review about this place! The Facilities and appliancies were all of high quality. Little things like milk in the fridge on arrival so you can make a drink and a welcome box with local goodies to try! Even washing machine capsules provided! Outstanding attention to detail!

No breakfast - self-catering

There was no Gas barbecue as indicated on property information, but contact with host was easy and slight misinformation would be corrected.

the lodge was perfect there was nothing to dislike

This apartment was a little piece of paradise, it is situated behind a family house right on the river surrounded by countryside, it was a pleasure to wake up and look out at the view. We could hear no noise except for the splashing of the ducks on the river and the birdsong, a real tonic away from the noise and bustle of everyday life. The apartment was very clean, finished to a high standard and tastefully decorated in a sage green which was very relaxing, sofa, chair, cushions and throw all very comfortable. Underfloor heating meant that we were very cosy even though the weather had turned a little colder. We felt at home as soon as we had unpacked. The kitchen had all the appliances, not that we used anything except the oven which was clean and worked perfectly. I struggled to find the WiFi password and rang the number provided, 2 minutes later a lovely young man came down from the house and showed me the Guest Information Folder which I had overlooked, he stayed to ensure we were all set up and even downloaded an App. to the TV to ensure my husband could watch the MotoGP. The welcome basket was very generous, there was a voucher for a free Hand Made Pork Pie from the local shop, unfortunately I forgot about it so we didn't try the pie!
