Typical and very tasty French breakfast of course! Very nicely presented by Odile and Rémy, who are a very friendly, interesting, and well-travelled couple. Lots of travel tales to swap - and a large collection of fascinating artefacts of all descriptions; seashells and fossils, delightful models of Tin-Tin characters, many different designs of globes of the Earth, etc., etc. We were fortunate in that Odile's English is very good, so our basic French was occasionally used, but not taxed at all! Rémy's English was less practised - but his German is good! Our 'room' was in fact effectively a small flat. Bedroom, bathroom, separate toilet, and a large living area with a small hob, microwave, sink and fridge. Right on the top floor (number 6! there is a tiny lift if you can't cope with the stairs!) of a classical Haussmann building from around 1895; including a view of the Eiffel Tower from the French balcony. Air con as well, if it gets too hot. Odile and Rémy live on the floor below - which is where they served us our breakfast. Located in the 16th Arrondissement, just a few minutes' walk from the Metro; therefore a 20-minute trip into the heart of the city. A great spot! Several good restaurants within a five minute walk. In fact the Bistrot 31 is literally just across the road; and their food was good enough to tempt us back several times! Overall a great choice of accommodation for us. Couldn't have made a better one! Thank you Odile and Rémy. We had a great time in your home and in your company, and learnt a great deal :-)

Liebe Odile, lieber Rémy, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich genossen. Vielen Dank noch einmal, dass extra bis tief in die Nacht auf unsere Ankunft gewartet wurde (starke Zugverspätung). Das war wirklich toll und überhaupt nicht selbstverständlich. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet (sogar mit Klimaanlage!). Es fehlte an nichts. Vielen Dank auch für das super Frühstück, die Paris-Tipps und die netten Unterhaltungen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Herzliche Grüße!

The hosts are exceptional not only provide an excellent place for us to stay, but shared with us the local attractions and history. The breakfast is fantastic. The house decoration is unique, which fuses old fashion and modern elements.

Corroborant tous les commentaires positifs, nous souhaitons tout simplement remercier Odile et Remy pour nous avoir permis de vivre une escapade Parisienne idyllique. Une multitude de "petits" détails, tant dans leur qualité d'accueil que sur le plan du confort, l'élégance à la fois sobre et originale de leurs appartements, le charme irrésistible du "village" d'Auteuil. sans compter la vue sur la Tour Eiffel... La magie opère pendant, et après !...
