This is a super little b&b with fantastic, friendly hosts who provided a lovely welcoming atmosphere and excellent fresh breakfast. The area was superb and easy to get into the centre of Paris. The whole flat was beautifully clean and had everything you could want including fridge, microwave and hob. You can also see the Eiffel Tower from the window in the lounge area.

The lift is very tiny only 5ft wide and about 2ft deep so a struggle to get 2 people plus 1 case each in and it is on the 6th floor but we managed. There is a tiny spiral staircase up to the flat which is steep and narrow so someone with mobility issues would not really be able to manage it but it was ok for us.

A spacious and attractive attic flat. Perfectly situated to explore central Paris with restaurants and shops nearby. Friendly helpful hosts who provide a sumptuous breakfast in an authentic and attractive French home.

Great location, with a boulangerie across the street and close to the metro and commuter trains. Hosts friendly and happy to recommend activities based on your interests. Would recommend and stay again. And the breakfast!

Remy and Odile are very nice hosts. They do their best to make you feel comfortable. Remy made us travel every day through the different decorations he used on the breakfast table and Odile spoiled us with her salty or sweet madeleines, without forgetting the beautiful tulips she used to decorate the room

Location was perfect for us - beautiful, quiet neighborhood with easy access to public transport. The apartment has a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. Odile was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Breakfast was very filling and delicious - neither of us could eat all of it! Odile even got up extra early to make breakfast for us on our last day there. We cannot thank her enough for her hospitality.

The only minor thing is the the stairs getting up to the room are very narrow, but the staircase itself is beautiful and we enjoyed the experience.

Odile and her husband were incredible hosts. We loved talking with them and hearing their suggestions for a very quick trip in the city. The breakfasts were fantastic and location was excellent. Highly recommend this stunning top-floor flat.

The apartment was absolutely cozy and welcoming, being there was an inmense privilege. I have visited Paris over 10 times and had never experienced this level of Parisian charm. Beyond the great apartment, the best part of Maison des Chaumes are the hosts: Odile and Rémy. They are the ones filling the days with their unique sense of humor, utmost attention to detail, unparalleled class and making you feel as if you were visiting close relatives living in Paris. More than a stay for our honeymoon, we gained friends we intent to keep for life.

Everything was absolutely perfect, I would have a hard time staying anywhere else in Paris.

The apartment is wonderful. It is a well-lit small apartment, situated in a well-connected quiet neighborhood of Paris. The mattress is of high quality, on the firm side, and excellent for a good sleep. You will find a collection of the most exquisite French teas and tisanes in your kitchen area. Most of all, Odile and Martin, the hosts, are extremely friendly, helpful, and kind. They make you feel like you are welcomed back by your own family. While you are staying with them, you become a Parisian yourself.

I can only add to what others have written. Remy and Odile provide a wonderful BnB experience in every way. For example on our departure day we had to leave at 6am. I had asked them not to get up or prepare any breakfast for us but at 5:30 Remy knocked on our door to tell us breakfast was ready so we could leave for the airport with full stomachs. They are wonderful hosts. It's located in a beautiful area at edge of the city with lovely quiet Parisienne streets. Store and restaurants are two blocks away. The nearest pizza place serves nice whole pies for 7Euros. When we first arrived I felt a little uncomfortable walking through their apartment to get to ours but that feeling went away as we settled in. There are two condos, one above the other. Ours (the upper apartment ) was large, complete and recently renovated with very nice, modern fixtures, floors, shower. It was quite comfortable with large beautiful windows and excellent bedding. There was zero noise outside and, with a little leaning out the window, we had a view of the spectacular Eiffel Tower light show at night. (see our photo). There is a subway (metro) station nearby. The system is quite modern, efficient and clean. For us, we preferred to use Uber to get to the tourist sites. Twice a day we called and drivers came reliably and took us to the tourist areas to meet our tours or sightsee on our own. Usually, the trip took about 20-30 minutes and cost 10E-20E. When I was in Paris 30 years ago and 20 years ago the Parisians justly deserved their reputation for not liking tourists especially Americans. I was rudely treated, even when cashing a traveler's check at a bank. The only time I was ever robbed while travelling was outside the Louvre. However, this time, the Parisians could not have been nicer, friendlier, more helpful to us.

Great location, right at the outskirts of the touristic center of the city, yet within walking distance. Lovely (small) appartement on the top floor of an old authentic Paris-style building. We truly had a memorabel stay thanks to the exceptionnal hospitality from our hosts, Remy & Odile ! If you're not into large hotels and are looking for an intimate alternative, we can definitely recommend Maison des Chaumes !

Odile & Rémy are exceptional hosts that went out of their way to ensure we had an excellent stay! Breakfast was beyond our expectations, with freshly baked muffins and an amazing selection of cheeses daily. The room is equipped with everything you'd need in a small apartment, and is beautifully sun drench in the morning. Located in a pleasant district, where you can see the Eiffel Tower out the window! Their B&B is filled with items collected over their many years of travels and we very much enjoyed hearing about them. Odile also gave us some great tips for exploring Paris and in the room there is even a list of choice restaurants in the area. Ideal for couples, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, it was a welcome change of pace to staying in a regular hotel.

An elegant, spacious 1 bedroom loft studio with Eiffel Tower views that trump the big 5 star hotels in Paris. There is not a better place to stay. We stayed at a ritzy 5 star hotel after this and regretted every moment - we should've continued on at Maison des Chaumes. Breakfast - to die for. Every morning a large spread is meticulously set by Odile. She will offer to cater for any dietary requirement or preference - impeccable.

What a wonderful place to stay in Paris! The flat is absolutely beautiful and the room was immaculate with a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. Odile and Rémy were wonderful hosts, made us feel very welcome and knew the best tips/places to have a real authentic Parisian experience. I have nothing but the highest regard for Maison des Chaumes and look forward to staying here during my next stop in Paris. Do not miss the opportunity to stay here!

Einfach alles. Das Appartement ist im 6. Stock, sodass man den Eiffelturm gut sehen kann und niemand darüber wohnt. Die geschmackvolle und hochwertige Einrichtung mit viel Liebe ausgesucht.Das moderne Badezimmer. Die Ausstattung der kleinen Küche. Das bequeme Bett. Das Schönste war jedoch das abwechslungsreiche und liebevoll servierte Frühstück. Diese persönliche Betreuung durch die sehr netten Gastgeber fanden wir wunderbar! Danke für dieses wunderschöne Wochenende!

Para resumirlo y para el que no quiera leer mucho, el alojamiento es perfecto por donde se lo mire y se lo recomendaría a cualquiera que esté yendo a Paris. Remy y Odile ofrecen el departamento ubicado arriba del departamento donde ellos viven, y créanme que el departamento no es lo único que ofrecen. Desde antes de llegar hablaron con nosotros no solo para ver si había cualquier cosa que necesitáramos pero para darnos información relevante que ni siquiera les habíamos pedido. Una vez ahí, no dejaron de estar atentos a nosotros en toda nuestra estadía, pero con muchísimo respeto por nuestro espacio y sin entrometerse en lo más mínimo. No había algo para lo que no tuvieran una recomendación, y si no la tenían, instantáneamente investigaban y nos traían la respuesta. El departamento (el nuestro) no solo contaba con baño en suite, sino que también con una sala de estar. Muy espacioso y cómodo, además de increíblemente decorado, con muchísimos detalles de buen gusto. Aparte de eso, teníamos cualquier ammenitie típico de un hotel! Agua, toallas limpias y cálidas, gaseosas, café y hasta la oportunidad de comprar miel producida por Remy mismo. Y qué decir del desayuno? Todas las mañanas en el horario que queríamos nos preparaban un desayuno con influencia francesa y con todos productos orgánicos y/o caseros. Unos croissants con alguna otra pieza de patisserie, mermaladas y miel caseras hechas por ellos mismos, jugo recién exprimido, fruta fresca y otras cosas más. La ubicación claramente no es céntrica, pero está en un barrio lindísimo que honestamente solo descubrirías alojándote aquí y desde donde te puedes conectar fácilmente con los lugares turísticos típicos con varios transportes públicos como el metro o el autobus. No tenemos ningún motivo personal para escribir esta review, más que generar que más personas como nosotros le den la chance al departamento en Paris que dentro de sus 20 fotos tiene la de esta pareja amorosa que vive para el departamento que alquila.
