The location is topnotch as it is literally in front of the public beach. Clean apartment with air conditioning and a breath taking view from the balcony. There is a washing machine for only 5 Eur per use. Owners were very accomodating and helpful in setting up beach chairs, towels, etc. if you are planning to swim. They also own the bar there so everything that you need for a good beach day is there.
This is not necessarily what I didn't like but moreso what others might be looking for in their next stay. There was no kitchen, and the bar they own downstairs doesn't serve lunch items. This was not a problem for me since there are so many restaurants to go to. It can get loud during the day from the neighboring bar's music but it definitely quiets down at night. Location might not be the closest to the center of Saranda, but can be reached in 20 minutes on foot.

Lage und die liebenswürdige Familie, die sehr hilfsbereit waren. Extrem gemütliche Betten und der Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer, einfach herrlich!!!

Nydelig utsikt fra terassen, og en veldig hyggelig familie som drev stedet. Der fikk vi kjøpe både kaffe og øl, og i tillegg så hadde de solsenger som vi kunne bruke.

We had an amazing stay at Rock Star-Pllakat. We really looked forward to the sea view and it was 10/10 worth it. The beach is literally in front of you so very convenient for swimming/ sunbathing. Room is new and modern, you basically have everything you need. Location is good, ~10 mins to the main town beach and 15 mins to centre, you can find lots of restaurants nearby and a SPAR 3 mins away. The hosting family was very pleasant, they do a small bar downstairs and laundry if you need for €5.
Overall, worth every penny! :)
We struggled a bit finding the property as there was no sign. It's behind hotel Piccolino, just head straight to the stair at the end of the alley to enter the bar/ reception.
Also would be nice if some shampoo/ shower gel or simple tea/ coffee provided. There were cups, glasses and spoons with kettle in the room but no sachet available.
Anyway, these were just small things and they didn't affect our great stay here. 😊
