A Beautiful Villa in an awesome location!

Lorena, the hostess, was such a sweetheart - so helpful, friendly, flexible and super kind (as was her dad!). They treated us so incredibly well - recommending restaurants, selecting a beautiful room on the top floor of their villa with a huge terrace, offering flexibility on a late check out time (without us asking for it!!), multiple offers to make us coffee and so much more! We would highly recommend staying in Villa Orkidea if you are visiting Sarandë. You won’t be disappointed!!.

Clean apartment close to the beach

Clean and nice apartment with private bathroom and well-equipped kitchen. The bed was comfortable. One minute walking distance to the beach. Several bars and restaurants in the close area. The main host talks albanian and italian, but not english. Her 13 year old granddaugter translated for us, so we could communicate.

Villa Orkidea has the best host I have ever had. She went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. Breakfast was exceptional, great variety accompanied by local treats. The room and balcony were super clean.

Exceptional hosts and accomations

This property was exceptionally clean, great location but what made our stay more than perfect was the warm, friendly welcoming of our hosts. The hosts were accommodating, present whenever needed and went beyond what we were expecting. The breakfast was varied daily. There was a vast selection along with homemade sweets.

Lovely - definitely recommend

Had a great stay. Immediately when we arrived we said ‘too bad we only booked one night’. The owners were very kind and helpful. The location was perfect, basically in the centre. Of town. And the room felt like a spa after our previous, less enjoyable accomodation in Përmet. The street sounds were very well dampened by the glass and there was a nice little balcony - with room to hang our laundry even! The owner told us we were the first people from the Netherlands to visit there, so: Dutchies assemble!

The owners are warm and wonderful. Fruit from the garden, fresh coffee at your doorstep. The little touches. And the cleanest room we've ever slept in hands down. The place and the couple who run it just make you smile. They care so much about every darn thing!

Nice villa and room close to the beach. Friendly and helpful staff who runs the villa. Breakfast was great and even too much to eat all. Parking space in the property.

Fantastic Family Run Hotel

Don't go past this delightful family run hotel. Fatmira the owner takes tremendous pride in every service and treated us and her other guests like family. We are a couple with a small baby and Fatmira made sure our stay was very comfortable. The hotel inside was beautiful, modern and extremely tasteful. It was pristine clean, every surface polished and buffed. And it smelled lovely. The breakfast was all freshly baked and included delicious homemade cakes and fried pastries along with cheeses, salads and home grown figs. The location was also great, as there was very little street noise and as it was 50m above a lovely beach where you can purchase beds and an umbrella for 1000leke /10€, and is near a supermarket, lovely restaurants and a short stroll to the boulevard or public beach. In short the hotel exceeded our expectations.

Since it's not possible to give an 11/10 on Booking, I can only give a 10/10. This place is an absolute gem in Saranda. The facility was clean and really well located with a supermarket, beach and good restaurants nearby. The hosts were super friendly and helpful, and made sure that we had the best and most comfortable stay in Albania. The breakfast was really good; they served us fried eggs, omelettes, fresh vegetables and fruits, homemade cakes, pancakes, homemade jam and cereals. They also offered many vegan options for my vegan girlfriend, which was a pleasant surprise. Thank you for this amazing stay!

Most fantastic Albanian Hospitality!!

Villa ordekea was not only a beautiful, modern, clean establishment, the hospitality was top notch!! I cannot express enough how sweet, honest, kind and welcoming the entire family was to me. They took me to ksamil for a beach day and the mother made the most delicious, fresh, homemade breakfast every morning. Fresh honey, jam, juice, coffee. Each morning a different delicious meal! So sweet and accommodating. She even sent me off with her homemade apricot jam and honey. The beds were extremely comfortable and the place was immaculately cleaned, daily. I wish you all to experience such hospitality and comfort. I will recommend to all my friends!

Excellent breakfast, home made jam.

The room was a good size, very clean. We had a choice of rooms. Breakfast was great, home made jam and cake, omelette. We choose the hotel as it was about a ten minute walk from the port, was a quiet area but also had a good selection of resturants and local supermarkets. We checked in around 12 pm, which was great. Only a 15 min walk to main bus area.

Superb

Nice rooms with all the facilities you need. Everything seems to be new and very well preserved. We had homemade breakfast outside served by lady who owns/runs apartment. She takes care of everything and she is doing everything really great even we could not understand a word :))

At arrival we had problems with parking place as there wasn't any free but it was sorted fast thanks to owner. In our room/apartment even we had kitchen there was no cutlery and pots for cooking.

Fantastic hosts, services and rooms

A place with a great value for money. Because of the friendly hosts, in a short period of time the place became like a second home. Breakfasts were amazing and they're served in the beautiful garden, which is full of flowers. Mrs. Mira is a great and generous cook. The facilities were modern and very clean. The garage is very close to the Villa and Mr. Ago is always available to help and make sure the cars are safe. Would totally recommend.

A nice stay at the Villa Orkidea

Very nice and unforgettable stay at the Villa Orkidea, a beautiful villa recently renovated. Fatmira (who speaks Italian) and Ago, her husband, very friendly, helpful hosts, with a great hospitality and kindness. Location central, a few minutes walk from the center, the beaches, local buses, ... Very comfortable room, with a large balcony. Cleanliness of the room as everywhere in the Villa. Delicious bio-breakfast, very generous. A very good address in Saranda. Falemenderit.

Beautiful and clean

Clean B&B that run by an immaculate family. Room was always clean. I can say that Villa Orkidea is better than it seems on photos. Clean bed, clean sheet, clean bathroom, new furnitures and a beautiful balcony awaits for you when you step in. Netflix, Youtube, etc. smarttv facilities available. A well-functioning wifi (password 20182019). I'd like to write a special sentence for Mistress Fatimira. She really treated us like her own son and daughter, we won't forget her. The breakfast was fresh and handmade including various jams which is made by her. She does pastries that change every morning with her own hands. If we go to Sarande again, We will definitely stay here.
