We loved our stay at Hotel Mano. We would highly recommend it.

Modern, comfortable rooms with a good balcony in a great location - especially if you are taking the ferry. The rooms were very clean and the cleaning staff came every day. The buffet breakfast was quite good and there is a bakery next door as well.

The only negative was the limited amount of parking in the area. Having said that the staff is very helpful in assisting that issue.

Great location, but tricky parking

The private parking was a bit tricky, there’s one slot on a steep incline, however, the staff were very accommodating and helped with maneuvering our car and with parking on the street. The breakfast was quite good, comprised of seasonal fruit, local cheese, breads, jam, etc. It’s directly in front of port, so it’s very easy to access if you’re going to use a ferry. Promenade is walking distance, so plenty of options to eat. The bed was comfy, so was able to sleep quite well.

The bathroom was a bit small and didn’t have enough coverage for the shower, so the water tends to get everywhere. Since it is directly across the port, it can get a bit noisy on certain times of the day.

No elevator. Luckily we were on first floor. Parking was terrible street parking in a back street. We came back to our room mid morning to find our door wide open and thought it was being cleaned but they were literally using our sunny balcony to dry their hotel towels. This was very disconcerting, our valuables are in here along with passports, not ideal ….

Overall, a clean and friendly hotel in a great location

Very nice hotel in a great location. The breakfast was decent — nothing fancy but really tasty. The room was clean, service was good, and the staff were very polite. Overall, a pleasant stay .

A shower curtain would have been useful, though it might have made the space feel smaller. Still, the water tended to spill out even though we were careful.

Clean, polite staff, short walk to Sarande main town!

The property is situated close to the centre of Sarande but also placed away from the hustle and bustle so results in a peaceful quiet atmosphere. The property was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff on reception were polite and helpful. Tortoise in the garden which was cool! The breakfast was simple but tasty. Would stay again next time I visit Sarande.

Access to the property is via stairs, where there is no elevator present. Whilst the hotel advertises car parking there is no official car park as such.. parking is located to the rear of the property on the street.

Good location. Excellent restaurant. Good breakfast. Also had dinner there 3 times. Violetta & the other 2 ladies were so helpful. Dont know the waiters name. But also very nice. Artain in reception also helpful.

I booked a twin room in error. I advised booking.com and the hotel. That I only need a regular double room. Not a twin as It would just be me in the room. I paid more for the twin room. Than a normal double room. No one replied. When I arrived. My room was fine. But no terrace. The other 3 ladies paid less than me. However they had nice double bed with terraces. My single bed was rock hard. Difficult to sleep. The shower was fine. But had no shower curtain. There was no shower tray to collect water. So i had to mop up the floor. After showering.

Good hotel with great view but don't bring a car here

Great location looking out at the sea and port, reasonable included breakfast, excellent location for catching ferry to Corfu and only a few minutes walk to the seaside promenade

We booked this hotel based on it's listing description that it had private parking. This was blatantly FALSE! The only parking available is on the street either in front or on the narrow street behind the hotel and it's virtually impossible to find a spot. We rented a car and planned to use Saranda as a base to make day trips from but were too scared to move our car for fear of not being able to find a parking spot again. We stayed here in mid- May which is only the start of the tourist season and I couldn't imagine what the parking situation will be like in the peak summer months. Traffic in Saranda is also horrible so having a car there can be a nightmare! The hotel should change it's description of parking as this problem has been mentioned numerous times in previous reviews and they have done nothing to correct this.

Amazing

The description was really accurate. Bed sheets were changed daily, the room and bathroom were clean. The view was amazing.

The lack of parking spaces (not really their fault) You can park both on front or back street, but it always depends on luck. The fridge didnt work if the key card wasnt in the socket, so if you were gone the entire day, dont expect to get a really cold drink.

Absolutely stunning views, very welcoming staff, a beautiful room and superb breakfast. We dined each night in the restaurant downstairs and ate our way through their seafood menu! If arriving by ferry, as we did from Corfu, it’s just across the road.

Excellent location with beautiful views

The room was very nice with a great view over the sea. Staff were very friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast downstairs in the restaurant was a nice spread with bread, cheese and veg, cereal, eggs and sausages and fruit. I emailed ahead about gluten free and they provided some GF cornflakes and almond milk. Parking (around the back of the hotel) was tricky but staff moved their personal cars to accomodate and offered the (rather steep!) driveway at one point.

At breakfast, the eggs and sausages were served in the same tray so not suitable for people who have dietary restrictions. I tried to ask if some eggs could be cooked and served separately but did not manage to convey this successfully.

Very good location, room was spacious with nice balcony and view. Very good breakfast (omelettes, ham, cheese, juice, tea, ...). Host was very helpful, especially with parking, which is kindy problematic due streets being full.

A great stay in Sarandë

Perfect location to catch the ferry. Breakfast was great, lots of choices but a shame it did not start a bit earlier than 8am. Our room had a beautiful view. Staff were really friendly. Value for money this place is an absolute winner. Definitely better than we expected it to be!

Our key to our room did not work a few times and we had to head back down to reception to get it fixed. Breakfast before 8am would be good for people catching earlier ferry’s.

Great place to stay

Great accomodation, right beside the ferry port, which is very handy if you are arriving by boat. Only a few minutes walk to the beach / restaurants. Balcony had a lovely view of the port.

Much to offer, little to pay.

The service of the staffs is excellent, the view from my room was mesmerizing, excellent breakfast, great location (, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and the promenade), private parking, for the price to be paid it is very worth it.

My stay was excellent, maybe the stairs are a problem for some people, but it wasn't for our family, in fact we even liked it because we burned the calories of the beer😂.

Easy to find if one comes out of the ferry terminal ( around 50m away). Staff were helpful & all was neat clean & tidy. Good breakfasts & great location. The balcony view over the city/ town & bay is something worth looking at especially at nite - there is no lift but climb stairs. Great bathroom area. Excellent value for money.

If you chose a top floor room- it's climbing the stairs ( 6 flights of 9 stairs= 54). Bur the balcony view is worth every Lek.

Fantastic Stay in Hotel Mano in Sarande

The VIEW!!!! OMG the view from my room was incredible. I sat out on the balcony for hours. The room was also very clean as was the hotel in general. And quiet too. Plus the staff were so friendly and happy to help. Thoroughly recommend and I will definitely return. Breakfast was good if the same everyday. It included fruit, cereal, cooked eggs, ham, salad and cheese.

Only very minor things. The shower needs a shower curtain. It would be good if the breakfast was more varied especially the scrambled eggs. And it would be good to have some tea of coffee facilities available like a kettle in the room. But this is all reflected in the price of the hotel and these are minor things.
