Mucobega Hotel

Clean and affordable. Cheap. Calm and less crowded beach front. Approachable and friendly staff.

They sell you a “mountain and seaside view” but all you get is a balcony overlooking a contradiction side, with parked cars inside, and some ill maintained trees. The rooms are very small, old fashioned and the bathroom and balcony smell really bad! The flush in the bathroom doesn’t properly work. The net for the balcony was broken and allowed mosquitos and other insects to enter. The airconditioning is either too cold or no airflow, and it is hard to open the window/ curtains given the view and circumstances. The hotel doesn’t have an elevator as well, stairs all the way. The breakfast is mediocre. The only good thing is the beach, even though you need to reserve your subbed the night before, to find one in the front. And even if you do, they might remove your stuff to give the sunbeds to someone who “paid” for them. Our stuff was even suddenly gone, and we only received it back once we asked for it. Overall, value for money is zero. I would recommend renting a cheaper property with a better view and spending one day here, renting sunbeds. The staff is also very rude and they refused to do anything about our room, claimed there is nothing they could do. They gaslight and try to convince you it’s ok and do nothing. Not recommended at all!
