I loved Location, gardens, staff, rooms, breakfast, attention to detail..

That we had to leave!

It was a quiet little oasis, close to everything we needed, but felt like returning to paradise when we came back, and sometimes we didn’t want to leave! The staff were amazing, we were travelling with a family group to celebrate my mums 70th, they made her feel really special and looked after all our needs! The breakfast were delicious, and the pool was lovely. I will be back for sure! We loved the little touches like evening turn down with stories of Balinese history and chocolates left on our beds!

The shower water pressure wasn’t great, but enough to get clean and probably expected in an older property like this.

The grounds were beautiful, with many elements of traditional Balinese architecture and skilled garden design making this stay stand out. The daily provision of a Balinese folklore story along with a couple of chocolates as part of the turn-down service was charming and very enjoyable.

The doors didn't seal properly, meaning mosquitos were able to get in our room. The bed did include a good-quality mosquito net, but we would have preferred to not need to use it. The location is a 20 minute walk from the shops or restaurants that make Sanur worth visiting.
