Good for location to Portsmouth Docks

The location is excellent—within walking distance to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, which takes at least two days to fully explore. It’s also close to the town center, where we found great Asian food, and conveniently near supermarkets. The host was very responsive and communicated well.

The apartment is designed with a communal bin area inside the building, which I had to walk past every time I entered or left. The smell was unpleasant and difficult to ignore. There is an alternative exit that avoids this path, but it doesn’t lead to the car park where my car was parked. In addition, there were other issues previously raised by past occupants, along with several smaller ones that I will separately share with the host.

Good location for the main attractions; be aware it's ground floor

Fantastic location, not the best actual area (two mothers travelling with two daughters) but it was very close to the dockyard and Gun Wharf Quays (less than 10 min walk to both) and the Spinnaker Tower.

The parking space was blocked, I think it's a regular problem having looked at other reviews. We had to pay to put our car in a car park for the duration of our stay. The apartment was ground floor, which I would not normally book when travelling with my daughter especially in the summer when you want to have the windows open, I did feel a little vulnerable. No dishwasher, no tea/coffee supplies... may seem petty but most properties we stay at (and we do this a lot) provide something but there is a Co-Op just around the corner with a Costa Express machine so that helped.

Great flat, great location and great host

We liked the location, easy parking, the size and cleanliness of the flat. The host, Paul, was very responsive and all instructions on about check in, keys and parking were clear and precise. We were 2 couples with 2 toddlers and it worked great for us. Location was perfect. Short walk to the Historic Dockland and Gunwharf Quays. There was a small supermarket at the end of the street

Comfortable stay in great location

Great location near Gunwharf Quays with parking. Both bedrooms a good size and great to have 2 bathrooms. Lounge was comfortable. Kitchen basic but had everything you needed in the space there was (no dishwasher but there was a washing machine which we did use). Host was very responsive to any questions/issues.

First parking spot allocated was very awkward with cars in the way (which didn’t look like a temporary situation). Luckily there was another spot that the host owns that we could use after a few days.

No entry for almost 2 hours after pre arranged time. 2 senior persons left waiting in the cold dark evening. When asked by the owner if here was anything we needed, request for heating had no response. Very poor

Great location

Fantastic to have two bathrooms and the option to have 4 single beds as travelling as a group of 4 friends. This is our 4th stay at this same apartment. Paul is a helpful host and the apartment is in the perfect position for Gunwarf quays. Also free parking is a rare find in Portsmouth.

Large clean well equiped apartment in brilliant location.

Nice comfortable beds, lovely showers. Great location for Historic Dockyard and Gunwharf Keys also Old Portsmouth is within walking distance, didn't use the car at all which is great. Brilliant communication with Paul, very helpful, thank you.

The main entrance into the apartment blocks wasn't very clean and tidy, don't know how often it is checked, but that wasn't Paul's fault.
