We were doing seeing our granddaughter, who came & stayed with us. So it was home from home with great memories ♥️

It was a cosy flat & big enough for 4 adults & 3 children. It’s on the 3rd floor & has a lift. It was great having 2 parking spaces as parking is a nightmare in Portsmouth. There’s a play park next to the apartment block & walking distance to Gunwarf. Apartment has everything you need, home from home. Owner is quick in replying to messages & gives you clear instructions for keys etc. Would definitely recommend. Wi-Fi was excellent as kids were never off their phones😂

Great location

Great location and parking spaces were a winner. Paul the host was brilliant nothing was too much trouble even getting us a high chair for the little one. Nice big comfy seating area that made into big comfy beds.

Single beds could do with a topper. It was very hot there were plenty of fans but were full of dust they needed a good clean to use. A dishwasher is a big miss.

The location is excellent, close to Portsmouth Historic dockyard and the city. The apartment was a good size for the six of us.

The communal area was not very inviting- discarded table and suitcase and rubbish in the corridors. Some of the beds were uncomfortable- the two singles in the main bedroom and small double bedroom

Perfect Position for the Dockyard and Quay shopping

The property was in an excellent location for the Historic Dockyard, only a 5 minute walk, Gunwharf Quay was only a 10 minute walk. Lots of restaurants and eateries very close. Two parking spaces was a real bonus. Two bathrooms were handy for 3 bedrooms. The host was quick to answer my communications. Access was easy and the host allowed us one parking space earlier than check in so we could explore the town.

We stayed for 3 nights in January. 4 adults and 2 children, and in all that time we had no hot water anywhere in the apartment. Although the host responded to all my communications quickly, nothing was done to resolve the water issue and we agreed on a mutual level of compensation. However I had to rate as poor due to this which is a shame because I would highly recommend the actual apartment. There was also not enough kithen equipment/cutlery. Only 4 knives and 4 forks 5 spoons. There was wine glasses, tumblers and plates and there was a cafetiere and a large selection of frying pans and saucepans. But that was it, there was no bowls, jugs or any equipment for food preparation or serving. We only cooked breakfast but that was a challenge. So a poor rating is for lack of hot water, having to bath the children by filling up kettle after kettle of hot water, cold water hairwash and showers for the adults and sharing culterly, lack of basic kitchen equipment. If there was hot water I would highly recommend for space, position and parking

Paul was very helpful in his communications and accommodating of our requests for things such as early use of a parking space. As a travel agent myself and my mother in law having previously run her own home stays, we were both very impressed at the cleanliness and general ambience of the apartment. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Great place to stay with friends

Great to have parking right outside the door and the balcony was a nice little added extra. Beds were really comfy. The host was great at communicating about check in / check out.

There were only 3 wine glasses, we comprimised but will remember to take our own next time.

Very clean and well presented with 2 bathrooms. Walking distance to harbour and major shopping/dining outlets. Plenty to see and do in Portsmouth for all ages.

Everything was excellent. Feedback provided to owner in respect of minor kitchen cleaning provisions which I’m sure will be attended to.

Wonderful communication from Paul. Location is only a very short stroll from the historic dockyards and gunwharf quay. Coop virtually next door. Apartment was very well equipped, clean, warm, comfortable and quiet. Parking was easy to access and very handy. Fast lift to access flat was a bonus.

All check-in instructions were sent prior to arrival and it was super easy to follow so getting in was no trouble at all - Paul was really helpful and quick to reply to messages. The apartment was clean and large; perfect for two small families! Kitchen facilities were fantastic. Really helpful that things like tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt, washing up liquid and foil were provided. And I have never seen so much cupboard space!!! This would have been useful had we stayed for longer. TVs with Netflix and Prime in every room is great, as was the Wifi. The balcony meant that we didn't need to travel downstairs to have a vape. Location is ideal for access to the M275 and Gunwharf Quays. Co-op convenience store on the corner (useful when checking-in after 4pm on a Sunday) and a large Morrisons superstore is just a 3-min drive away. It certainly met and exceeded our expectations. Value for money was reasonable too.

The apartment building itself is not well looked after by those who visit or live there, which is a shame.

Excellent location close to HIstoric Dockyard which we were visiting and nearby Gunwharf Quay for shopping, restaurants, etc. Good communication with host. Comfortable, well-equipped apartment.

The only suggestion would be to provide a tea towel in the kitchen.

Excellent Apartment , great location , Very helpful owner , we enjoyed our stay , and were a little sad to going home. Good communication with the owner when needed. Hopefully we will be back for another stay at some point . We highly recommend this Apartment
