We had a lovely stay, the accommodation was like being home from home, it had everything you could need for your stay, and was very spacious. Easy booking and fantastic communication from Simone and Wendy. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you

Beautiful experience

I cannot fault this apartment, just perfect for a group of friends, clean and roomy and perfectly located for the ferry to and from Portsmouth. Aldi close by for supplies and host was very helpful 10/10

Lots of history in this building and surrounding area - a brief summary of it and Gosport would have been nice ! We enjoyed our stay.

We booked this accommodation as I had to recently cancel a holiday in France and it looked perfect on the website.We did not know much about Gosport but staying in an old army barrack was a fascinating prospect. We were due to arrive in Gosport at 2 and check in was at 4 so we would spend some time exploring.. At around 12 I got a message from Simone asking our arrival time and she informed us we were welcome from 2 pm... That was a perfect start to our trip. Simone was easily contactable throughout our stay which was a comforting thought incase we needed When we got there the housekeeper let us in and it was all exactly as described on the website.. even better as the kitchen for example was more than fully equipped and we were all given large fluffy towels to use.. As we stayed in a really hot week the bedrooms downstairs were simply perfect as they always stayed cool.. The building is really special and it’s history and that of all the surrounding buildings is very interesting.. Gosport is a lovely town and the accommodation is a 5 to 10 minute walk to the pedestrian ferry which takes you straight into Portsmouth. During our stay sadly most museums etc were still closed due to Covid-19 but we still managed to have a great time.. If anything it made us relax even more and really enjoy lazy mornings at home.. Our favourite place was Gosport beach.. It was easy to social distance yet it felt vibrant and busy. All of us went swimming in the sea nearly every day which was amazing.. I am so glad we cancelled France to come to Gosport and to this lovely home.. cause that is what it felt like.. a home away from home.. cosy yet spacious, warm yet cool.. I would definitely recommend this and am already thinking about returning next year.

The property was lovely. Nice and clean and well maintained. Nice location too. Ferry to Portsmouth is close. Local ALDI is very close if you need supplies. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay. Property as per listing- airy, clean and well equipped. Short walk to the harbour ferry from Gosport to Portsmouth, which takes 3 mins and runs frequently. Really convenient and away from the bustle of Portsmouth itself. We found a nice little Italian 10 mins walk away, but shops were also close by if you needed anything. Would stay again.

The property was good size and clean, the stairs where a issue as really steep and didn't say in advert and didn't show pictures of the amount of stairs but overall was a great place to stay

We stayed in Sarah’s place for 2 nights as we were filming in Gosport and Portsmouth. We wanted somewhere quiet and spacious as we had a lot of equipment with us and somewhere we could cook! We absolutely loved it, lovely high ceilings, everywhere felt really spacious, we could have the beds made up into singles or kept doubles which was really handy! The sofa bed I was told was very comfortable. If we ever find ourselves down here again for work I would love to stay here again. Highly recommend!!

The apartment is spacious, clean and pretty. It was perfect for our large family. We loved riding the ferry to Portsmouth!

Lovely apartment, very spacious with everything we needed. The apartment was very clean. Good amenities close by and within easy reach of the New Forest, the beach and Portsmouth. We had a lovely break.

This was my first time in the area and the rental made it great. Excellent communication with all parties involved. I couldn't have been happier. I was there for work, but it felt like play. Thanks to all.
