You have a lovely property but please now give it a freshen up and a little TLC, that it deserves.

Location was excellent for the University. Bedroom lovely and quiet but lots of traffic noise if you sleep on the sofa bed. Property now needs some TLC but main property was very clean. Property was quite cute.

Lack of number on the door made locating the property very difficult. There was no sheet left for sofa bed even though we were booked for 3 people. Bedroom lovely and quiet but lots of traffic noise if you sleep on the sofa bed. Property now needs some TLC but main property was very clean. Washing machine was full of water so we couldn't use. Crockery and utensils all needed washing before we could use. Bathroom cabinet needs moving, you cannot get to sink to clean teeth.

Cancelled 3 Hours before check in

After being booked for a month and double checking with them the booking was confirmed, they cancelled on me on the day, 3 hours before check in.

Pleasant Home from Home

Beautiful home from home. Ideally, what we needed, very satisfied. Super clean and comfortable accommodation close to shops, restaurants, and nightlife. The area seems very safe and friendly. Parking was good although expensive but that's expected for this location. A good place to stay. Highly recommended. I'm checking out within the next hour and will definitely stay again.

WiFi signal can be a bit unstable but manageable. I'm currently sitting in the lowest signal area and still able to connect.

A small, fairly modern, centrally located property. Great for access to Portsmouth.

Well located and had reasonably priced on road parking. Modern decor. Great wifi and tv. Great double glazing - we could barely hear the busy road noise. Nice selection of toiletries although lots of previous guests remnants left in bathroom cupboard.

Noisy neighbours, drug fumes from upstairs property (also managed by owner). Unable to access on time due to overstaying guests and a mix up with the cleaning staff. Offered no recompense, parking or late check out although owner did apologise and was very pleasant. The bathroom had a precariously located cupboard making the sink difficult to use to clean teeth. The kitchen cupboards were badly fitted and were a tad wonky. Unable to open the only window.

A noisy insecure flat that was not well cleaned. I cannot recommend others stay here.

Central location

Not secure - basement flat easily accessed from pavement and one of the sash windows clearly had a broken lock meaning that the property could have been easily burgled. The property is in a street of university student houses. Indeed the floor above us had student party with the associated noise until 2am. Interior of the property suggests that this is where someone lives most of the time and who occasionally rents it out. For example -the random printer and exercise bike in the living room. Sofa bed - pretty average.

Disappointing and not to standard

The only thing good about the property was that it had a steamer you could use to iron your clothes. Poor communication was the main issue though the property was overall not up to standard. We had to cancel drinks with our friends as there was a workman there until after 6.00pm. Check in time was 4.00pm. We were compensated 10 pounds for the inconvenience. The bathroom door didn’t stay closed and if you are looking to sleep 4 people in this apartment then be aware there is no privacy. You have to walk through the main bedroom to get to the bathroom and the wall is glass between the lounge where the sofa for sleeping is and the main bedroom. When we arrived we had to step over rubbish. The bathroom floor mat was stained and dirty. There was no fresh soap only toiletries which other people had left. We did not use the kitchen so cannot comment on it. The apartment is also downstairs but there is no signage to let you know this. Overall we felt that the property was not ready to be rented to us even though we had booked it months in advance.

Buena ubicación, lo demás muy mejorable.

El apartamento está bien ubicado.

La entrada al apartamento es fea, es un semisótano con escaleras que ha sido aprovechado como alojamiento turístico. Aun así, la zona de comedor es luminosa, el resto de instalaciones no (cocina, dormitorio y baño). Yo viajaba con un familiar de edad avanzada. Cuando se metió a la ducha resultó que no había agua caliente. La explicación que nos dio es que la caldera funciona con recargas y que se había comprobado antes del check in que había suficiente, sugiriendo que si habíamos gastado mucha, cuando ni siquiera habíamos abierto el grifo del agua caliente hasta el momento de la ducha. Es cierto que la propietaria vino enseguida y recargó la tarjeta, pero esto fue un inconveniente importante. Además, la televisión está rota, se lo hicimos saber porque no se veía ningún canal ni se podía bajar el volumen (que estaba al máximo y era atronador) ni utilizar otras teclas, nos dijo que el mando a distancia estaba roto, nos dio otro, pero resultó que era el televisor lo que no funcionaba bien y no pudimos ver nada ninguno de los días. Además, tuvimos que poner la lavadora porque se nos mojó la ropa al llover, y tiene un importante escape de agua, que tuvimos que solucionar como pudimos con papel y toallas. En términos generales, muy mejorable.
