The welcome was excellent and the apartment itself was super, being well equipped, very comfortable and nicely furnished and, importantly, very clean.

The booking process was rather confused with conflicting information and a previously unmentioned need for a cash or cash/bank transfer damage deposit (one of the conflicts - cash only vs cash or bank transfer). However, things were cleared up pretty much by the time we arrived, after which everything was very good indeed. The location was great with the only drawback being noise in the Gunwharf Quays shopping and eating area below that went on until 2am on our first night and 3am on the second. Not a lot of people, but a small group or two shouting, arguing and laughing. As it was hot we had a choice of quiet (window closed) or being kept awake (window open!) Overall though an excellent visit and very close to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard which was the purpose of our trip.

the apartment was spacious, light, great view and and well located. The fan was bonus on a warmer night. Like having a washing machine and iron etc. Good value

The washing machine didn't have any instructions and was confusing for us having not encountered this sort before. also unable to access instructions on line.

The apartment was in an excellent location and the communication from the staff both before and after our stay was excellent. They were responsive and helpful throughout.

On arrival we were asked for a breakages deposit. As there was no inventory provided we asked to see one so that we could check the condition of the apartment and its contents. The staff were understanding and did not pursue the deposit, which we appreciated. The apartment was comfortable and adequate although some of the equipment and furnishings were beginning to look a little tired.
