Very bland apartment - all white walls and not a single picture in sight! Functional, yes, but lacking any kind of "soul".

Spacious, well furnished and clean. Fantastic views, close to all the amenities.

Great location for Gunwharf Quays complex and the historic naval dockyard. Also great for a before or after trip on the ferries to and from Spain etc.

Fabulous location, superb apartment.

Location was fantastic, couldn’t have been more central. Very convenient and stress free. Apartment was a great size overall too, for 3 of us, fully equipped with everything we needed, with superb underfloor heating, very comfy beds & pillows, Sky TV, a fabulous digital kettle and very easy parking.

Only minor things if being picky - The master bedroom (with the en-suite) was smaller than expected and bathrooms could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly.

Roomy Portsmouth Apartment

Our contact with Barry & Ross was exceptional. Anything we requested was sorted quickly The apartment was in such a terrific location in Portsmouth- easy walk to everything. Elevator was quick,with safe entrance into the building.

There were not enough cooking utensils in the kitchen & the master bedroom had no curtains.

Fanstastic hosts & location - apartment a little dated

The hosts were absolutely wonderful. Communication was super easy and they met us to let us in and explain everything. We were 2 couples who stayed at the apartment which was very spacious. The apartment has one en-suite and 1 Bathroom so there was plenty of space for us. There is also a big kitchen which we did not really use but which is clean and equipped. The location is fantastic - right in the centre.

The aparment is dated and shows signs of wear and tear. The floor in the apartment was also not the cleanest so we kept our shoes on. My husband and I slept in the smaller of the 2 bedrooms which sadly has a very uncomfortable matress where you could feel every spring.

Had a great stay ,Barry came to meet us very Freddy and helpful giving us some good info for around Portsmouth.

Nice and central easy to get everywhere ,everything you needed in the apartment .

To reception needs looked at could only watch bbc 1 on television all other channels broke up ,could do with a better mattress on the double bed .

Great host Barry who made everything so easy before and during stay

Location next to quays shops was fab. Accommodation was secure clean spacious modern and plenty space for 5/6 people with all mod cons. Parking was easy Great host and service provided.

Very modern and very clean with excellent facilities. It was well situated with easy access to shops and all of the activity around the Harbour. Barry, the host, was extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Great location - right in Gunwharf but easy to walk to the Old Town. The apartment was at the back of the building so there was no noise from the pubs.

Top of the range. Spectacular.

Barry was an amazing host. Helped with bags. Had a laugh. Talked us through everything. Could not have asked for a better intro. The property was right in the centre. Sunsets to die for. Balcony to overlook everyone and everything. Spectacular to say the least. Don’t even think about it. There are no negatives. I enjoy reading some of the comments that are written by comedians I think as there is nothing you can be unhappy with.

I didn’t like the fact that there is nothing I don’t like.

Not the best!

Central location. Barry met us and gave a thorough run through of keys etc.

Right next to the train station with poorly insulated bedroom windows. Extremely noisy from about 5am to midnight. We found the flat cold so had to use the heaters. No throws for the settee or extra bedding. Double room bed mattress was very squeaky every time you moved. The wardrobe doors were uneven and the back had bowed inwards. Single room, nowhere to put your clothes. Limited cups, glasses. Only a sponge to wash up with, no cloth to wipe the sides. No extra tea towel. No tea or coffee in the canisters which I would expect for the price we paid. Disappointing for the money.

Clean small apartment in the heart of Gunwharf Quays

Convenient location - stones throw from shops/ restaurants/ rail and bus stations. Good view. Very basic but has most of what we needed.

Fire alarm went off twice in one night - full building evacuation - not good. Room noisy due to proximity to railway and it could have done with an extra blanket as was cold (but probably not helped by the fire evacuations at night. Hairdryer would have been useful.

Fabulous

Excellent stay in a lovely apartment, in a fabulous location overlooking Gunwharf Keys. We were on the 9th floor, wonderful views across to the dockyard and the Solent. Good communication from Barrie regarding directions, and then meeting us in the underground secure car park, then taking us up to show us the apartment. Clean and tidy, with usual facilities. I bedroom ensuite with another main bathroom. Barrie could not have been more welcoming, really nice to be greeted so well. Highly recommended.
