ADEQUATE BUT WOULDN'T STAY AGAIN, IT WAS OK FOR JUST 2 NIGHTS

THE LOCATIOIN WAS CONVENIENT FOR OUR NEEDS

THE WELCOME PACK WAS VERY MEAGRE THE STAIRS WERE QUITE CHALLENGING FOR OLDER GUESTS THE SITTING ROOM TOO SMALL TO SOCIALISE WE WERE TOLD NOT TO USE THE HOT TUB AFTER 10 OCLOCK BECAUSE THE NEIGHBOURS WOULD COMPLAIN, YET WE WERE KEPT AWAKE UNTIL THE EARLY HOURS BY NEIGHBOURS BOUNCING ON A TRAMPOLINE IN THEIR GARDEN

Portsmouth Bank Holiday Retreat

The location is quite nice as it is accessible to public transportation and walking distance to shops, etc. The garden, barbecue and the hot tub are a plus. The kitchen was really useful and so happy that there was a washer/dryer. The beds are comfortable and can accommodate 2pax. It is a great place for a weekend retreat whether with a family or with friends.

On the other hand, we were really disgusted that the beddings weren’t changed at all. There were stains on some of the sheets and they’re really smelly so we stripped off everything and washed. When you open the windows, all the dust from the window sill goes inside. The bedrooms have funny smell once the windows are closed. The fridge/freezer shelves and drawers were filthy, we had to wash/wipe them clean. The kitchen drawers are dirty, we have to wash the utensils, the crockery, pots and stuff before we use them. The recycling bin was overflowing and wasn’t picked up. Lastly, there were actually shampoo and conditioner provided but it is a teeny, weeny bottle that it’s not even enough for one wash. We brought our own toiletries though. We know that we paid a housekeeping fee but still we did our best to keep the property neat and tidy, we disposed of our garbage properly.

The house is very clean and welcoming. We received great support on booking the parking and we found everything we needed in the house. We enjoyed the hot tub that was very clean and had a great time.

não tem estacionamento privado, só na rua e é uma confusão para conseguir estacionar. Tivemos que optar por pagar parque de estacionamento coberto a 50 metros de distancia do apartamento.
