Hogwood Cottage

Really nice and cozy, so close to the station and in the centre of town with lots of great pubs and restaurants right next door

The location is right in market square which was very peasant and made it easy to get around. The cottage is extremely cute and charming. There were a good amount of utensils and cooking appliances.

The bed is horribly uncomfortable and the springs basically have no integrity left causing it to droop on one side. I have never slept on such an uncomfortable bed! The mattress needs replacing immediately. The entrance is quite odd and the back was pretty unmaintained. The mossy ground was very slippery and somewhat a hazard. The pillows had black dusty particles on them which look like they could have fell from the wooden ceiling. There were cobwebs in some of the corners and I am not sure how long it was vacant before my stay. The cottage is old and charming but it also means it is FREEZING. There is it boiler but I am not someone who would always have the heating on. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like I had slept outside and then had to make sure I kept it on all night on low. The boiler has to kick in multiple times to facilite a hot shower resulting in faultering temperatures.
