Great place to stay if visiting castle.

Close to the castle. Perfect place to stay after or before the visit to the castle. Amazing restaurant, I had delicious foie gras mi-cuit fait maison. Excellent communication with the owner about time of arrival. Absolutely calm at night.

Excellent stopover venue for visiting the Chateau de Chenonceau or the surrounding area

The owner was super-welcoming and helpful, and adapted the breakfast when he discovered I needed a gluten-free option. Really comfortable kingsize bed in a spacious room, with efficient air-conditioning. Great location within walking distance of the chateau, which meant that we could visit first thing in the morning and avoid the crowds.

Although there was a bar/restaurant on-site, it was unfortunately not open when we visited, and we only found this out on the day of arrival. Neither were most of the other restaurants within walking distance, as it turned out, so we struggled to find somewhere suitable for dinner.

Breakfast was great. Really fresh, delicious croissants.

The shower and sinks still had mineral stains from water, which made us question if it had been cleaned, but it looked clean. Also, neither door had working handles...they were old styles and need to be regularly tightened. You could close and lock them with the key, but not otherwise. The TV worked great, but the antenna didn't work well, so what channels they had were hard to watch.

Le propriétaire des lieux à clairement tout misé sur l’esthétique des pièces, mais à oublié le principal... Pas de placards pour les vêtements, une housse de couette inappropriée pour dormir au contact de votre peau, des serviettes de bain à l’etat de serpillières, des gels douches à disposition car vides, un miroir de salle d’eau inapproprié sauf si vous mesurez 190cm , lumière de couloir à gérer au tableau électrique , un petit déjeuner compris dans le prix de la chambre " 2 dosettes de café et 2 sachets de thé " et si vous souhaitez autre chose, et bien la boulangerie est à côté.....et pour clore le chapitre, 1/4 heure à essayer de sortir de la chambre à cause d’une serrure défectueuse , nous sommes enfin délivrés par une personne de la réception, et le gentil propriétaire de nous préciser qu’il faut être doux avec la serrure pour pouvoir quitter les lieux...

La qualité d’accueil de Nicolas est rare : disponibilité, prévenance, gentillesse, humour 🤩 Le restaurant O’GB propose une délicieuse carte traditionnelle et locale, un vrai régal ! La chambre offre une décoration délicate, une literie de qualité, une vaste et agréable salle de bains, de nombreux équipements, le tout dans un grand calme. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas compris mais du thé, du café, du lait et du jus d’orange sont à disposition. Une excellente adresse, à deux pas du château de Chenonceau, que nous recommandons vivement !

NOUS NE RETOURNERONS PAS DANS CET ETABLISSEMENT !!

Le petit déjeuner est INEXISTANT ! on nous a demandé de sortir dans la rue au saut du lit pour trouver une boulangerie afin de pourvoir acheter croissants pains etc .. et retourner les manger chez eux !! finalement nous sommes restés dans la boulangerie et y avons pris notre petit déjeuner !!

Très mauvaise réception concernant la télévision, l'antenne se trouve à l'intérieur de la chambre, on devait la déplacer en permanence !!

Uitstekend appartementje boven een horecagelegenheid op loopafstand van het kasteel van Chenonceaux. Lekker rustig! Goede douche. En erg ruim.

Ontbijt moet je (deels) zelf regelen maar dat is lastig als de enige bakker om de hoek gesloten is.

La chambre est exactement conforme à la photo La salle de bains est grande. La déco est superbe. La literie est top, on y dort très bien et surtout … très important l’accueil de nos hôtes…. L’équipe est vraiment très sympathique, elle se met en 4 pour nous faire plaisir Du restaurant à la nuitée tout était parfait.
