Super base in Kirkwall

Very clean and comfortable. Facilities of a high standard.. Jordan was very helpful and allowed us to stay extra hours to coordinate with ferry. Highly recommended.

Great Kirkwall Property

Fantastic property, clean, well provisioned and just a really comfortable stay. We had got stuck on Kirkwall due to ferry cancellations and this made the two day delay a joy

Did not let facilities spoil our holiday but would find it difficult to recommend to friends.

Easy parking, lots of hot water, no noisy neighbours.

Cleanliness was lacking, moved one of the settees and had to sweep up broken biscuits and other debris. Towels were hard and bit smelly. Settees were extremely uncomfortable. Kitchen was reasonably kitted out but no bread bin or tea-pot. Location just a bit too far to walk into town so car used every time.

We loved Orkney but maybe would have preferred a more central property

It was very helpful having bread, milk and jam left for us. Good shower.

One of the sofas is sagging and uncomfortable. It was a wee bit of a walk from the town to the property. The 2 bedside lamps in the front bedroom didn’t work so we switched one of them to the back bedroom. Take care when going in, on the morning we left at 5am to catch the ferry, I was putting out the rubbish and a grey cat shot into the house. Fortunately I was eventually able to get him out.

Located in easy walking distance of the centre of Kirkwall and supermarkets. It was comfortable, very clean with basics like tea, coffee, bread etc included and a welcoming bottle of wine! Excellent shower which was great after a long day's walking and exploring.

The property was clean, warm and welcoming. The property was very well insulated ref noise and warmth. All the appliances functioned correctly. Plent of pots and pans etc. though no breakfast plates for some reason. A great property to stay in.

Loved our visit to Orkney - if you've never been it's well worth a trip.

Great house for exploring the Island of Orkney - close to shops and walking distance into Center. Didn't really use much of the breakfast basket as mostly cereal based but the selection was good with jams, biscuits, bread etc. Clean and spacious. There were surplus toiletries had you forgotten any.

The kitchen window definitely needs a blind as it is overlooked by neighbouring properties. Next doors Beagle dog is a bit yappy if you go outside in the garden.

Breakfast included. Wiffi. Parking at door. Spacious house and good location for walking to the shops. Well stocked with everything you needed for your stay. Nice neighbours too!

No mattress protectors on beds, maybe more sturdier sofas, a chair in the bedrooms and a mirror. Seats for outside and the grass cut, garden tidier.

such a lovely house located really close to the centre, beautiful inside and out, the house was warm and comfortable and

it was beautifully set out inside, there was even a little bag of popcorn and a breakfast pack that you don’t see happening anywhere on the mainland! I would highly recommend staying here it was lovely! there was even toiletries which I found just amazing!

Breakfast was ample with some lovely local bread, Location was excellent, 2 minutes from 3 large Supermarkets, Town Centre and Fuel Station. Very Peaceful clean area.
