Appartement en duplex avec 2 salles de bains. Grande chambre avec dressing en haut. J’ai bien aimé la situation en pleine ville et la configuration de l’appartement. Nous avions tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner, avec thé, café et épices. Deux portes d’entrée de chaque côté de la rue, c’est pratique. On s’y est bien senti et les propriétaires semblaient charmants.

C’est assez vieillot, mobilier et moquettes avec une odeur d’humidité (Et lits trop mous, mais ça semble être normal ici en Ecosse si j’en crois les 6 logements loués pendant notre séjour)

The lfat was surpriningly roomy. It was well equipped with everything required to self-cater. The bed was comfrotable. a variety of breakfast provisions were left for us - a lovely surprise. The flat was very clean. The location provided ideal access to all the sites we wanted to visit in Orkney.

The breakfast was as described, a continental breakfast left in the kitchen area for arrival. Supermarkets within 5 minutes walking distance for supplementing the provision. The kitchen was very well equipped in terms of equipment and support items (e.g. clingfilm, cleaning liquids etc.). The location was excellent for reaching the centre of Kirkwall and the cultural centres. Car parking was very convenient at the rear of the accommodation and it was easy to travel to all parts of the mainland.
