A peaceful and accommodating place to stay, we loved it and would happily return.

We stayed here for the evening and honestly had such a lovely time. The place was incredibly quiet and peaceful, exactly what we needed to decompress at the end of the day. Helen was wonderfully flexible and accommodating, which made everything feel easy and relaxed from start to finish. We'll stay again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a calm, comfortable spot to unwind.

Would happily stay there again, if ever in the area

A very nice rural spot, which is about four kilometres from the nearest village. The Eircode brings one seamlessly to the door, so there are no issues finding it - even on a dark October night

Rejuvenate in a relaxed and healthy location.

The breakfast is excellent. The location is ideal if you require a 'quiet' location. You will need to drive to this location but if you have the correct postcode, you will be able to find this location. There is a sharp right hand turn at the bottom of the village which you need to watch out for. Take your time on this narrow road and you will be ok. The location is literally on the waters edge and you can fish if you want to also.

This venue is ideal. I cannot think of anything that I didn't like.

Wonderful and lovely house with considerate hosts in peaceful, idyllic location

Really terrific staff, all very welcoming without being overbearing. We arrived a little late, and they were still very accommodating and offered us tea or coffee. The house and grounds were beautiful and the breakfast generous and delicious. Many thank all the way around.

It would be nice to have a chair in the room, which assists people with mobility issues to put on socks and shoes, and also to set something down.

It was the best B&B we have stayed in, and Helen and Bridget were super hosts. The peace and quiet, sitting in the shade, by the millstream was wonderful. Everything was 100%.

Perfect getaway in nature

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The hostess is charming and the Manor is furnished very comfortably and in excellend taste. We really enjoyed walking in the vast gardens, there's a stream which runs along the property and the nature is amazing. I highly recommend this property. It is good value for money

This is a hidden gem! It is comfortable, clean, welcoming and beautifully located riverside.

The innkeeper was so warm and welcoming. Tea by the fire and a walk through the gardens by the river were memorable. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was filling and yummy.

Ellen, the host, was so welcoming. Our room was bright and cozy and quiet. We love the location by the stream in the old Mill house. And Helen gave us a good recommendation for nearby place to go for supper. Only sorry we could only stay one night.

The location was outside of town in a beautiful setting. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Helen cooked us a nice irish breakfast and let us tour the grounds. One of her staff members was ironing sheets! Highly recommend staying here.

My stay was first class in every way, especially the welcome of the host.

First class in every way. Excellent rooms, very comfortable and great breakfast. The host did everything to make me feel welcome and at ease. Tea on arrival and lovely sitting room. This former Mill house is such a great place to stay. I am of the McGovern Clan of West Cavan and this stay was everything I know about the best of Cavan hospitality.

Superb

Stayed here for a wedding in Cavan. Helen made us feel really welcome and ordered taxi’s for us which made our trip so much easier, the breakfast was really good and a quiet location. Everywhere was also super clean and tidy.

The location does make it more difficult to get around as there isn’t much nearby, hiring a car would make it easier but we didn’t stay long enough to make this worthwhile.
