There were 9 people in our party, Nice accomodations!

We stayed in apartments outside the castle but on castle grounds. We did not go to the castle restaurant. Enjoyed the beautiful countryside and a walk around inside the awesome castle. Would try to book the castle itself much earlier if we were to visit again.

The bed was not very comfortable, but the room was very sufficient and quiet. There were 9 people in our party, so we needed 2 apartments, which unfortunately were not located next to each other, so that was not very convenient.

Lough Rynn bliss

Lough Rynn is such a peaceful and atmospheric hotel, complimented by luxurious rooms, food and service. Customer service is really next to none, very friendly and eager to please. Bar and restaurant staff are customer focused, food quality and presentation excellent and management are very welcoming and friendly

No dislikes and happy to hear that plans are in place for a spa centre which will be a welcome addition.

It was quiet and cozy with the beautiful location and walled gardens and has a warm welcoming feel

The only issue I had was the bar dining the tables were a little low for my long legs seating can be a little comprised for eating comfortably but it’s not a huge issue and if you you go for the set menu at the restaurant which on our next stay we will for sure you have lots of room

The room I booked wasn't available when we arrived. I booked a delux room with four poster bed. I was told they could see my booking.com booking but for whatever reason it didn't translate to me receiving what I booked ( overbooking im guessing). we were offered the worst room I think I've ever seen to stay in. Small room with large air conditioning or similar unit coming out of wall . Mildew on all of the shower tiles. We were offered to return to a suite on a date of out choice....however there was no availability on Saturday nights in Oct, Nov or Dec. Second option was £100 off to remain in awful room and third option (I kid you not) was a full refund and go home! A manager was requested but never showed so I requested a full refund. I will never return and would recommend anyone I know to avoid Lough Rynn Castle.

The staff are some of the best we have encountered in any hotel in Ireland.

We had a standard room in the main building which was very comfortable, the decor is old fashioned but it is in keeping with the building. There is a calm and relaxing atmosphere throughout the hotel.

A gem, worth a stay

Excellent service, second time to stay here. The staff in the reception are very welcoming and friendly. Always a pleasure to deal with. The staff were helpful and accommodating throughout the stay. Sufficient parking, ev charging points accessible at the coach house. Development underway to improve the services available such as spa and more accommodation.

Too remote, gardens are only a field, bedroom too far away from main building, breakfast so, so. Breakfast at my local Junction 14 much better. Only good point here was the freshly squeezed orange juice Slieve Russell in Co Cavan much better value, better gardens, facilities and better tasting food

Amazing!

Everything was amazing, from the minute we walked into the Castle, we were met with such a friendly atmosphere. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast the next morning in the hotel and even the toast was amazing!! Our room was very comfy, spacious and warm! I would highly recommend this hotel for all occasions! All staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful and all up for a chat!

A gem of a stay, highly recommend

Efficient service, warm and welcoming staff. The reception staff were very chatty and engaging. The staff welcomed both members of the party to the accommodation. I was shown to the room by one of the receptionist. The staff throughout the establishment are an asset. We both had dinner on the night, high quality, excellent staff and great quality food. I will definitely be a return visitor.

Very nice hotel, peaceful with great areas for relaxing. Grounds good for short walks. Walled garden very impressive. All staff very helpful. friendly and naturally good to talk with. Restraunt excellent for breakfast and dinner.

All good perhaps the bathroom needs some upgrades. Taps , shower, shower valve.
