A beautiful place to stay, run by a very friendly and welcoming couple, in a magnificent location

The lodge is beautiful and the surrounding countryside is sublime. Its such a beautiful area like fairyland, and might well be, as it is a very special and sacred place I really enjoyed my stay with Anne and Michael. They are lovely people, so friendly and hospitable They are also very accommodating. Very patient with me squirelling away a lovely plate and other bits of crockery overnight and leaving gaps on the breakfast table 😄 The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable It was great to have the ensuite bathroom And everything so clean I would definitely like to go back there again some time

The only one thing I would like to have would be a brighter main light in the bedroom and bathroom

I had to travel to Longford to view a business opportunity, 3 days after a very quiet birthday so I asked a very good friend to tag a long, the type of friend that would bring money to cover you if you needed anything, so I thought I’d make a cheeky night of it as I’d be working from 6-2 anyway, so serving coffee in soul shot with one hand and booking with my other I booked a room for only one person 🙈🙈🙈on arrival and just discovering what I did, the most beautiful lady appeared, Anne, you went above and beyond for us Anne , had an amazing night but it all started with your hospitality 🫶the don’t make them like you anymore, thank you for inviting us into your home, and if anyone is need of a beautiful place to stay, the Inny river lodge, guys, I can’t promise the craic we had in mullingar🤪but I can promise Anne will see you straight ❤️❤️

A perfect, welcoming most enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend 😊😊

We had a fantastic stay at the Lodge. We were welcomed with great warmth and a lovely cup of tea & coffee. The bedrooms were amazingly clean, beds were comfy and the shower was perfect. Our breakfast was really tasty and plentiful. Anne couldn’t do enough for us, recommending and booking an evening meal and offering travel advice. It was a really lovely place to stay.

Ann’s great guesthouse in rural Ireland

Host Ann communicated in advance well regarding local road closure requiring diverted route to Guesthouse. Lovely welcome on arrival including tea and sandwiches. Because of early departure, didn’t experience breakfast but Ann offered some fresh fruit to take. Would recommend for those seeking rural experience with locals in Ireland.

Outstanding!

Our amiable host Anne went out of her way to make our (too short) stay pleasant. We got a welcoming tea right upon our arrival and found our room to be not only pretty, but with very comfy beds and mattresses, a sparkling clean room and bathroom and lots of nice extras like hand lotion. The Irish breakfast was outstanding, it was our first one in this country and Anne had everything prepared freshly, even the bread was home-baked by her. The rural area makes for a wonderful deep sleep and we will definitely recommend this place and top on our list of places to stay again and for longer then! It is a very warm and welcoming house that displays genuine Irish spirit and a tasteful decoration all over, too!

Inny River Lodge, a real gem!

This is a gem of a place. Anne the owner is such a lovely genuine lady, and nothing is a bother to her. My room was lovely, clean and comfortable with a very good ensuite included. The breakfast was freshly cooked and plenty of it. The value for money here was unreal and it was a lovely experience. I'll definitely be back!

What a fantastic find Inny river lodge is. A charming B&B run by the host with the most Anne Fitzgerald. Spotless accommodation and a full Irish breakfast to die for. A lovely base for touring around mid Ireland. Cannot recommend this bed and breakfast home from home enough. Thank you Anne for a lovely relaxing stay! X

Everything was perfect, except that I was worried our sound carried at night.

The hosts were very accomodating, interesting and kind. Breakfast was great. The area was gorgeous and peaceful. Only an hour drive to the airport the next morning, convenient if you don't want to stay in the city.

As we arrived late, I felt bad for other people in the house as I felt like our sound carried.
