Great host in Robert and nice place to stay near the best longford has to offer.

Robert is a great guy and makes you feel very welcome and was very helpful and informative.The location is very nice also near to lots of the things Longford has to offer.

Mattress was very soft,it’s one of those ones if you sit on the edge of it you fall off but that’s an easy fix and only a minor inconvenience.

I was there for the marathon weekend so things may be skewed, but I had a very nice time.

Longford was for me very friendly. We enjoyed the town for two nights. We will most certainly go again. Thumbs up to a nice town.

Cosy little cottage - easy walk into town.

Fab little cottage in easy walking distance of the town of Longford. Comfy bed and nice to have use of sitting room and kitchen too. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

It would be great if the outside sitting area at the back was developed more for enjoying the sunshine - although perhaps the weather is not always as kind as during our visit!

`Robert is a lovely man very easy to deal with and pleasent.

Maybe could do with a more modern kitchen , and if you are ok with a soft bed thats fine .

Very comfortable accommodation for an overnight stay.

Our stay was self catering, but everything needed was provided in the kitchen … hot and cold water, kettle, toaster, milk, teas, coffee, cups, plates, cutlery etc. Disabled parking right at the front of the accommodation was well appreciated. Very comfortable bed. Fully adequate for our one night stay. If in the area, would return again.

Met my needs for a single night

Friendly staff - albeit met long after I'd arrived - clean and comfy room and bed

Shared kitchen meant cooking aroma was prevalent; entry to building was via a key pad, with number sent by e:mail, so I didn't get it until after another guet lety me in. No one to welcome me, leaving me uncertain about which room was meant for me. Is on busy road, and apparently a good (but interesting) walk from the nearest eateries.

You can use the kitchen to have breakfast or to have a quick dinner. Very comfortable beds. Nice staff, it's easy to communicate with them

The other side of the medal...you can meet lazy guests leaving dirty cups or pots. Obviously, it's not accomodation fault! But the owner could leave a message "Please wash your own pots!"

Good

The main reason for picking this property was that it was willing to store a bicycle during the stay and I was able to leave it in a shed during the entirety of the stay. Also I arrived later than expected due to travel issues and was able to enter the property by using a lockbox instead of bothering the proprietor.

This can be taken good or bad, but the bedroom is sparse with the bed and a dresser and a smaller dresser by the bedside. There were 2 hangers on the back of the door, so no real closet and there wouldn’t be room for one anyway. As a solo traveler this was fine, but if a couple booked the deluxe king room option, they might have issues. The only small issue I had was finding the property since there is no signage for the property and only realized I was in the right spot when I saw a faded booking.com rating tag in the window. After reviewing the messages from the property after the stay, they did offer some landmarks of how to find it, but they were sent 3 months before the stay when it was booked, so maybe a refresher message of the landmarks a day or two before the actual stay would be helpful.
