Welcome and kindness of Ann is the best characteristic of this hotel. Thank you Ann. Car park is huge, wifi works well, good bathroom with excellent shower. Reception foyer is very classy but the rest of the hotel is a dingy bar/lounge which gets very noisy and busy in the evenings. Only staying one night. Breakfast good with large portions.
Although room was good the bed was very soft and not very comfortable. Evening meal 'a la carte' was bar meals and not very good food. Serving battered fish piled on top of a huge pile of chips ruins both as they make both very soggy. Hotel is overpriced for what it is. We paid less per night in a 4 star hotel the previous days.

Lovely room food was fantastic. Best carvery and breakfast I've had in a while .staff were very nice and had a few drinks in residents bar after hours
