Found this place after doing some research a few months ago and this place exceeded ou expectations.

It was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable and quiet. Off the beaten path, but that’s what we wanted. Marie was warm, thoughtful and sweet, she did everything to make us feel welcome.

Space and kindness.

Marie, the boss :-). Helped us with everything and made us feel at home. Kindness embodied. Extra spacious rooms. Bathroom very large. Common room with fridge/bar. Great breakfast. After an Irish breakfast Marie gave us her house-made scones for underway !

Beautiful place to go and relax

Fabulous stay. Quiet and beautiful location. Lough Ree bank only a short walk away. Marie is a fabulous host who goes above and beyond for her guests. The breakfast was delicious and Marie even put homemade baked goods on the table.

A small letdown was the shower. Very poor water pressure and the water was hot one minute and cold the next. Also as it was an electric shower it was very loud.

A beauty very close to Athlone!

Our booking was very last minute and Marie kindly waited up to greet us a little past her usual 10pm check in curfew. We were quite hungry on arrival and with little available in the area, Marie offered us a selection of teas and coffee and freshly baked scones to hold us over until the morning. We were also given an upgraded room which was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The home is lovely inside and out with Marie inside and her husband John taking care of their farm. During our delicious full Irish breakfast, made to our specifications, we watched John herding up the sheep from the conservatory window. My husband thought it would be a great adventure to head out and help John with the sheep. My husband is also still talking about the white blood pudding. We can't say enough about our very gracious hosts and their beautiful home. If we ever come back to Ireland, we will definitely stay again.

Persone molto accoglienti, luogo molto silenzioso, pulito, molti accessori utili in bagno, colazione buonissima.

Mancano le prese elettriche per ricaricare il telefono. In camera di notte se ci si alza per andare in bagno, si accende una luce rossa.

Wat ons beviel aan ons verblijf? De eigenaren het meest!!! Ze laten je helemaal thuis voelen en verwennen je met zoveel lekkers tussendoor. Marie is gewoonweg een geweldige en lieve gastvrouw, niets is haar te gek. We moesten vroeg uitchecken en vroegen of het mogelijk was om ons ontbijtje ingepakt mee te krijgen. Wat we meekregen was zo uitgebreid en volledig verzorgd ingepakt. Boven verwachting. Daarnaast is het huis prachtig, voelt aan als n thuis, het ontbijt is boven verwachting. Onze zoon kon ook samen met John de lammetjes voeden, mooie bonus.

Erholsamer Landaufenthalt für Genießer

Reizende und fürsorgliche Gastgeberin, die uns mit einem perfekten Frühstück verwöhnte. Full Irish breakfast mit reicher Obstauswahl und sogar frisch gebackenen Scones. Nach drei Wochen Irland definitiv unser bestes B&B. Das Haus hat geräumige Zimmer und liegt sehr ruhig in einer schönen ländlichen Gegend. Kein Lärm und dadurch sehr erholsam. Restaurant im nahen Roscommon empfehlenswert. Die Gastgeberin hat für uns telefonisch reserviert, was aber nicht wirklich notwendig war.
