Melford Allotment Shed-Vintage Lodge Suffolk

Absolutely everything. The location, the decoration was sublime, the authenticity. I loved everything about The Allotment Shed and have already recommended to my friends and family 💗

There wasn’t anything not to like!

The privacy was excellent, once you closed the gate you were in a little world of your own . The location was also fantastic, literally a very short walk to the high street where there was so many pubs, cafes to choose from from . The parking for the location was again super - free and another very short walk to the location.

A fantastic little space around the back of Melford. Very handy for local pubs and shops. A whole lot of thought has gone into decorating and furnishing what is a pretty small space and the results are great. The garden is a real plus on a sunny day which is the weather we experienced for our whole visit. South facing so you get sun pretty much all the way through from mid morning to early evening, and very secluded. Lovely little table with an umbrella to provide shade, and plants to admire and water. Great communication from Joanne before the trip with a clear video about location and accessing the Shed

Nothing much to dislike. There’s not enough space for lavish soft armchairs inside, but there is decent space around the surprisingly large dining table. We spent most of our time in the garden during the day and road testing the local pubs in the evenings. The back lane was bone dry while we were there but will obviously be muddy off season. And there is a box to contain grubby shoes and boots. Good to take a torch for any late night walks back to the Shed.

Everything was perfect; location, property and host. The Allotment Shed is a perfect gem. Beautifully presented, equipped and located. I was going to say "little gem" but in fact it is in fact deceptively spacious with everything provided for a perfect stay. And its own lovely little garden as a bonus!
