Terrible - basic at best definitely not luxury

Good strong wifi

Trouble accessing as key press number incorrect. Hadn’t been cleaned - dirty sheets and towels in shower. No curtain in bedroom only blind, no window covering at all in bathroom and kitchen. Smoke detector ripped off ceiling, road so noisy. Didn’t feel secure with unlocked door from the garage straight into the property. Cooker top disgusting. I would say this couldn’t be further from luxury and would rate it basic at best. The photos used in the listing are not reflective of the actual property.

Passable but we will not return

The apartment was modern, clean and warm. The location was very good

We were given 2 incorrect key codes for the key box. We were unable to contact the host as his phone was not working. The wi-fi did not work at all. The radiator in the bathroom did not work due to a smashed valve and the trickle vent in the window was broken, therefore the bathroom was cold.

Too much to say and I have already informed the owner of this property that I would not review on the Booking website however, as the general feel I have after staying here, for one night only because we had to, is misled; I have decided after a couple of months of reflection, to review for good reason. I have attempted resolve with both Booking.com and the owner to little satisfaction. I am only trying to help others not to experience a similar one to mine and my wife's by writing this review.

It was a good stay, unfortunately the weather could have been better.

We were in self catering, so know breakfast. The property was very close to where we wanted to be. It was convenient for the town and for visiting relatives. It was clean and tidy, and everything worked.

Some curtains in the kitchen and bathroom would have been better, as a night it didn't feel very private.

It could’ve been a little cleaner (some areas lacked attention to detail - ie: dusty skirtings, cooker top, fridge - not as clean as it could’ve been).. Not enough clean towels or linen for 4 nights.. The sofa was disappointing (Not as pictured - which took away from the apparent “luxury” feel). The Wi-Fi details were not in the apartment as stated in the information email, I messaged the host but received no reply. The road the property is located on is extremely noisey.

Great location with good prices

I liked the location and ease of parking. it's a clean property with every necessity one can want; even there was tea and coffee available although we took our own. the thought was appreciated.

The bedroom faces the main road which is noisy at night as plenty cars going about.

Needs some work decorating wise, road noise, the worst thing about the property was the listing the listing said 1 double bed 2 single beds and a sofa bed which was not the case it had a double bed that turns into 2 singles but no room to move them apart and a uncomfortable sofa bed there were 3 single people that just wanted 3 beds instead I had to share with someone which was uncomfortable and my friend took the uncomfortable sofa bed. Also the communication with the owner was poor he didn’t get in touch with me about checking in to the property so I messaged him with no reply so then had to ring him. Very disappointing

À éviter

ATTENTION : - 35£ exigé pour le chien le jour de l'arrivée alors que le propriétaire était prévenu dès la réservation et que l'annonce stipule "chien accepté SANS SUPPLÉMENT". J'ai finalement dû payer 25£ pour le chien pour 1 seule nuit. - le "canapé lit" est une ruine, (pas le même que sur la photo), impossible de dormir dessus. Le linge pour le canapé n'était pas préparé, nous l'avons trouvé en vrac dans un sac au fond du placard à aspirateur..! Annonce et photos trompeuses. Seule la chambre était correcte mais hélas au bord de la nationale. Un escalier mène à l'appartement au 1er étage, pas précisé dans l'annonce.

Déception totale à 180 € la nuit : Pas prevu pour 3, loin du centre ville, au bord de la A1071 très bruyant, pas entretenu, ménage non fait, tapis anti dérapant noir de vieux savon dans la douche, étendoir à linge ouvert dans le salon..etc Ensemble pas attirant, loin du "luxury-self-catering-town center" !
