An absolute nightmare.

Apartment was very spacious. Beds were comfortable.

The owner was a nightmare. The code for the door in didn’t work and the lovely staff across in the pub had to take our bags and mind them so that we didn’t miss the concert that we were very late for in the end. We didn’t know if we had a place to stay and booked an emergency accommodation so we had a place to sleep. We only got word off him at about 8 that evening well after we attempted to check in. We tried calling him many of times and there was never an answer. He then offered to pay half of the money we lost on the other accommodation and refused to revelout it and only wanted my bank details. I would never recommend this place to anyone based on my experience.

Perfect apartment+perfect location=perfect stay.....simples!!!

Decor of the apartment was tasteful and everything was to a high standard.Location was perfect short walk to marina area(good cafes!) also close to town center.Excellent communication from our host Stuart! Lovely pub at the end of the street ( Dove St Inn) owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming I would also recommend the Marina cafe for a good value for money breakfast! Very enjoyable stay would certainly use again without hesitation!!

This apartment works very well for a short stay in Ipswich.

We loved the extra touches like the quirky bedside lamps. And the kitchen and bathroom were both well appointed. Kitchen had high end appliances too.

Much as we liked the red rust colour as it is rather oppressive, particularly in the sitting room. If the ceilings in the kitchen and sitting room were painted cream, that would help. It would also help if all the side lamps were working too! We loved the kitchen set up but please can you provide some mugs, as the cups are tiny. Thanks.

Very useful, self-contained apartment for family/small group stay in Ipswich.

Great wetroom and well-equipped kitchen. Roomy sofa in the lounge and excellent wifi, which kept my adult children happy. We were using the apartment whilst our bathroom was being refurbished, and the location was central for town and close to my son's work, so ideal.

Parking is an issue, as the host explains in his blurb. You have to be lucky to get one of the parking spaces. Could use net curtains on the windows, as we were often in during the day and the street outside is very busy.

A great base for our stay in Ipswich

Stylish, well-equipped apartment - the kitchen contained everything we could need and the bathroom was clean and large. The host was responsive and the apartment was generally well-located, although a little noisy in the morning because of footfall outside the window and deliveries/bottle collection from the nearby brewery - which was fab by the way! We are early risers so the morning noise wasn't a concern.

The deep red floor, walls, ceiling and doors were oppressive in the hallway and the lounge - even the side lights and centre light didn't lift the space - but each to his own, and the furniture and fittings were extremely stylish and in keeping with the rich red space! In an attempt to 'light' the lounge, there was a cable running across the entrance to the lounge, which was a hazard, but other than that things were fine. The host was quick to respond to a 'towel' issue on our arrival and couldn't have been more helpful.

With 2 double bedrooms, sleeping 4 adults, the living room would have benefited from a second sofa rather than just the one large (comfy) sofa.
