Located just 2 miles from Hadleigh and conveniently close to the A12, Raydon is famous for its WW2 military airfield and historic link to the American air base with several original buildings still in use as workshops. If you can drag yourself away from Blackwell Barn, you’ll find a convenience store, pub and restaurant at East Berghot, fine dining under a mile away at Layham and plenty of places to explore in the local area. Manningtree station is a short drive away on the main line connecting Norwich and Harwich with London Liverpool Street. Beach 21 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile and restaurant 2 miles.
