Derby pit stop to scooter rally 23

The room was spacious, simple, fresh & very clean. There was access to a shared sitting room with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and crockery also basic breakfast of toast & cereal. The bathroom was spacious and had a wonderful double shower with all the wizzy buttons and bells. The owner was just lovely, she kept in touch and tried to be about in case I needed her, she was so helpful and considerate.

There wasn't really a 'good' place to park my scooter up as needed to keep the 1 parking space clear for their car - totally understandable. Linsy then suggested I parked by a closed public gate in front of the house so I could chain & padlock it up. The room was on the top floor, so had to haul all my wet bike gear up 3 flights of stairs which I felt bad about as didnt want to make a mess. Ho hum. There was a huge wardrobe but had the families personal belongings in it so didnt really want to poke about for somewhere to hang my few bits over night. If I had stayed longer I would have asked so not a big issue.

Comfortable nights sleep. Good size bed and windows let plenty of air in. Help yourself breakfast was nice and simple. Pub for something to eat is at the end of the road.

The shower needs a basket installed as there is nowhere to hang shower gel meaning having to bend down every time it is needed which is awkward as I suffer from a bad back. The hot and cold tap in the bathroom has been plumbed the wrong way round.

The receptionist was exceptional. She’s was very sweet and very helpful. The room was so clean, beautiful and comfortable.

The guest next to us was very noisy but that’s not the receptionist’s fault at all.

I had a fantastic stay. Great communication; a warm welcome; a clean, spacious room and comfy bed; a well-equipped and supplied kitchenette and living area and a shower that wouldn't seem out of place in a five star hotel.

Derby visit

Nice shower. Reasonable storage in fitted wardrobes.

Parking was two wheels on the steep pavement. No washing up facilities. Self closing doors were noisy in the quiet of the night. No curtain in ensuite window.

Very nice and recommended

We stayed with my wife in a room with a bathroom. Both the room and the whole house are very nice, modern and well-kept. Bathroom with a great shower. The kitchen has a TV, fridge, microwave, coffee, sugar, butter etc. The owner is very polite and helpful. Certainly a place worth recommending

Breakfast was spot on lovely lady to greet us in & show us around happy to help also any requests I made were altered clean nice lounge area and to top it off a beautiful shower would highly recommend also affordable 😊😊
