We have stayed here a few times in several different rooms. This stay was in the smallest room which is fine for a couple. The bathroom is also a good size. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. We chose the property so that family members could join us to dine in the restaurant. The food is very good and the pub is attractively laid out with smart decor. Breakfast was also good value and table service. Staff are all very welcoming.
The shower screen is not big enough to stop the bathroom floor getting wet.

Lovely staff. Room and facilities good. Value for money.
Food was really disappointing. The Farmhouse used to be known for its roast dinners so was looking forward to a carvery as I had not been in the area for a while. No carvery and as it was on my table before I returned from ordering at the till, it was hardly freshly plated. Cardboard meat, expensive and unappetising.

All staff members were incredible - friendly, helpful and polite. A special mention for Katie and the young man, name unknown, behind the bar.
The room was acceptably clean but there was a lack of attention to detail that stopped me scoring higher. The mattress was a spring mattress - possibly near to needing replacing but I still enjoyed a good nights sleep.
I felt the overall cost was expensive for a pub stay - particularly when there isn't a 24 hour 'hotel' facility.
