Eagle Rooms

The apartment is airy and spacious (with good air conditioning). The location was excellent for us because it is right near the Jewish ghetto. We are Sabbath observant and this property worked very well for us. It’s just a few minute walk to the synagogue and there was a key box outside the building to leave your keys. The kitchenette was useful. I always rent with a kitchen so I can cook for my family and cut down on expenses of always eating out at restaurants.

There were a number of things in the apartment that were broken and needed fixing. For example, we stayed in bedroom #1 and the bathroom door didn’t lock or even close properly. There were also lightbulbs that needed fixing and the kitchen sink doesn’t work very well. But when I mentioned these problems to the host, he was responsive and sympathetic. Unfortunately,the one real problem that he can’t do much to fix is that you enter the building through the interior courtyard and that’s where the building’s garbage cans are stored. In the intense heat of summer, the awful smell can be overpowering. It’s a quick walk to get past them, but just know that it’s intense. Any other time of year, I’m sure it’s fine.

The location is simply perfect. We didn't use any transportation at all, and all the main sights are within walking distance: the Vatican, the Colosseum, and many others. The equipment kitchen is also a plus. We had breakfast at the hotel and then spent the whole day exploring. We were interested in the hotel being conveniently located, being clean, the bathroom with hot water and not being too expensive.

The view from the bedroom window isn't great, but who cares about? There are really no special comments.

Host was very kind and easy to communicate, whenever we text , host text back right away and helped us. Thanks a lot for everything, also building is old and very good actually, apartment is also cute. And most important location is so perfect.

Light on the ceiling is not working very well, and shower is so narrow & hot water does not flow stably. And room was cold and AC not working very well for the heat.
