Good budget-friendly place.

Good value for money, quite a lot of parking nearby. Facilities were good quality (provided a lot of basics and extras), area is quite quiet and peaceful, stayed for about a week. A good, budget-friendly stay.

Very odd shower system, radiators weren’t working (space heaters provided) and quite low ceilings.

Walking weekend

We had been let down by another property and the team at KG inspired were accommodating, professional and quick. The property was clean, with plenty of space and everything needed for our stay. The location was good, parking on site and free of charge. The best part of our stay was the amazing customer service. We were checked in on by the friendly Lauren, who could not have been anymore help. Her friendly and caring manner left us feeling appreciated and cared for.

The only issue we had was no shower.

Bad

Nothing. The property smelt of sewage, was dirty and had black mould was all over the property. We couldn't stop even one night and had to find somewhere to stay after a long drive and after a full week at work. We arrived just before 10pm and the door had been left open, when we opened the door the smell was utterly sickening. In our opinion the property needs to be tanked and deep cleaned. The worst property I have been too in the uk. Please do not book. What made matters worse is we had to find somewhere in the middle of the night, which was a hotel, so all our food spoilt, and we had to eat out. Our trip was a family gathering, which was ruined. Please note that the company failed to offer suitable accommodation for us and we had to cut the trip short. The rental agency using Booking.com would have know the poor condition of the property and its disappointing that booking.com has not done its checks either. I've not had a issue like this before with booking.com but would recommend that there is serious consideration to check the properties of this agency.

The property should not be let. Utterly disgusting- smells of sewage, dirty with human hair, layers of dirt and dust, poor maintenance, mice droppings and poison located in a dirty cupboard. Black mould. I have a video of the property that I will be uploading and forwarding my complaint to other agencies as it is a health risk

The apartment was spacious with a separate bedroom and bathroom. The living area was comfortable and there were two sofa beds when I stayed. There was also a dining table and a kitchenette with a washing machine. I note that they have switched out the seating for a more homely look, removing a sofa bed and putting in a cream sofa/and arm chair.

I don't feel comfortable leaving an honest review. I will probably not see my deposit again,I have had no response from my request to have it returned. I abided by their terms and conditions and left the property as I found it bar the stripping of the linens which were left in a pile as per their request and policy.

Beautiful apartment, very cordial and responsive host but few shortcomings.

The host was able to make available basic items and they were responsive. I was surprised to see a pressing iron, scissors, cooking utensils. I enjoyed watching TV and the internet service was also available.

(1) No salt was provided. I arrived late in the evening and had to eat my cooked rice without salt. The next day, I had to buy my own salt from Sainsbury. (2) There are cobwebs in the apartment. (3) The compound in the night was dark due to the burnt outer bulb though this was replaced the next day but I was scared on my first night. (4) No bowl and bucket was provided. These are required items for Africans in the bathroom since there was no shower. (5) I kept on hitting my head on the lower plank before entering the bedroom. I think a caution notice should be placed there. (6) Water drips into the bathroom whenever toilet is used upstairs. This leaves pocket of water in the bathroom and I had to scoop it. The most annoying part is the foul smell that comes with it. Please you need to rectify this urgent. You need to look closely on the wall between the heater and bathroom door for you to see traces of the water.

the bed was comfortable

sink coming away from wall. blood splatters on wall, paint flaking from walls, only towels for one person, WiFi so poor the Netflix advertised wouldn’t even load. Needs a complete redecorate. the price tag was way over the quality of the facilities provided

It was ok but needs work.

I hate to leave a negative review but I feel it’s only fair I tell my personal experience. Location was good. Parking was fine. It is indeed a cottage. Sofas were comfortable.

We stayed for 3 days. Unfortunately there was a very overwhelming smell of mould upon entering I had to buy air freshener because of how bad it is. Barely any windows at all so it clearly lacked air circulation. There was some old mould staining in certain areas it basically smelt like painted over mould. This really should be dealt with I had a tight chest majority of my stay I didn’t say anything because we had no where else to go so I had no choice and I don’t see what else could of been done. Only 3 tea bags given even though there was 2 of us and I assumed with advertising tea and coffee and milk it would be a decent amount at least. Milk pods where conjealed. Advertisement states there’s a shower there absolutely isn’t. It’s just a bath. Early checkout was unavoidable. We cleaned the entire place before leaving and took out the rubbish and put where we was asked too. I do feel like the email and message too much I had 10 emails about my deposit ect through out being there. The bed was AWFULLY uncomfortable I’ve never felt anything like it, it’s ruined my back still till now. I don’t see how anyone can possibly sleep on the bed I slept on the sofa in the end! Cleanliness was fine. Contact was fine. Low ceilings but it’s a “cottage” after all. Your asked to clean the whole place. Take rubbish to a bin outside in parking area and empty the beds and put linen ect in a certain place this is fine as we are not messy people but I feel like the purpose of a “holiday” means you can relax and not take the Job of what your cleaner should be doing. No salt and pepper in the shakers at all. They did say someone could bring some but I didn’t want to be disturbed. You could hear neighbours upstairs when ever they ran water walked around ect. I don’t believe this stay was worth £200 that it was. Bathroom floor is weird you felt like you was falling through it nearly. I’m sorry to leave this sort of review but I’m only being honest unfortunately.

Clean but pretty uncomfortable

- the place was clean - nice tv - the owners were quick to respond to our text messages - the kitchen has a good amount of appliances

- EXTREMELY low and irregular ceiling. My partner and I bumped our heads multiple times. So much so that I ended up walking with a towel on the head to avoid further bumps. The owners should really mark in RED the few beams that are 10-15 cm lower than the (already very low) rest of the flat. - the owners require you to fill up multiple online forms, which includes sending a copy of your private identity documents, credit card info, and a 150£ deposit to an unknown dodgy third-party website, making the check-in experience somewhat stressful. - very small and uncomfortable double bed - no shower or shower head in the bath - no window in the bedroom, making the air of the room quite hot at night (but the owners kindly brought a fan upon request) - early checkout which could not be delayed
