Everything was great but one night it was so cold and when we looked for the switch for central heating as described in the paphlet it was nowhere to be found , and a previous guest had said the same so we plugged in two electric radiators and covered ourselves with blankets but that was the only

This is overall a great apartment with just a few minor issues. Finish could be a bit better (ill fitting/ damaged carpets in places, scuffs on walls etc) and cleaning although generally fine would benefit from a bit more attention (cobwebs, and all the air fresheners left out were empty). The balcony does not look like the picture, the view is fantastic but the furniture was so rusty we were reluctant to use it. When we arrived the main bedroom windows were covered in bird mess, we managed to lean out and clean them which improved things a lot so we could enjoy the views. Having said all that, we loved the apartment overall. Location was great for harbour and town, off road parking a big bonus. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the space and the communication with the host was brilliant- she was very responsive and answered all our queries prior to the holiday. We had a minor plumbing issue while we were there which was sorted out quickly with no fuss. As others have said, this apartment is all about the views and they are simply stunning, we spent hours just looking out of the windows! You can see both the sea and the town. Can’t imagine anywhere in the area has better views frankly and we loved being able to hear the sea. Overall we would absolutely recommend this apartment and hope to return to it soon.

We loved this place. It must truly have the best views in Ilfracombe. We spent hours looking out of different windows, watching the views change with the light and the tides and the weather. The building itself has an interesting history - the museum (which is a stone’s throw away) has some information about it if you ask. A perfect location generally but particularly if you are going to a wedding at the Tunnels Beaches. We hope we have an opportunity to go back to Ilfracombe some time, so that we can stay in the apartment again. Thank you Dee.

The apartment was lovely and the views of the sea are amazing. We couldn't ask for more the apartment had everything we needed and the washing machine was an added bonus wirh three children. We were also very central and everything was just a short walk away. we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would reccommend x

Unbeatable views from a great location. The apartment was quiet with good amenities. Once we got over the initial disappointment of the kitchen area not being as clean as expected, we had a great time and would recommend the property. We will remember those views for a long time.

The apartment was fabulous and the views were amazing! The parking space in the secure gated car park on site was perfect, very easy check-in process. The apartment had everything you would need for a very comfortable self catering break. The main bedroom was lovely as every morning you could wake up and see the sea, we slept with the windows open every night and it was just so relaxing and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the ensuite was a good size. The views from all of the windows in the apartment were stunning, we spent many hours in the living room just looking out to sea and in to the town. Also the balcony was great for morning sunshine until about 2.30pm, we had our breakfast out there every day. The town was an easy walk down the hill through the gardens where there were plenty of restaurants and bars, plus the usual seaside shops, which were lovely. We would thoroughly recommend Dee's place and can't wait to go back again soon.

The accommodation is all about the view. Don't get me wrong. The 2 bed, 2 bath, spacious apartment has all the things that you need, but you can't be in there and not be distracted by the dominating feature of "looking out". Just lovely :-)

A lovely place to stay. We had a problem on the first day but Dee was quick to get it sorted. It’s a lovely, modern apartment with everything you could need. It can get a little chilly being so close to the cost but there are plenty of heaters and blankets to keep you warm. Would definitely recommend!

The property is located in a great location with fantastic views from all rooms in the apartment. The property is warm and cosy and we received a lovely welcome pack that included a bottle of wine. The property was well equipped and very spacious. It was also nice and light as a result of the number of windows. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Really nice apartment everything we needed. Location was out of this world, over looking the sea. Very close to shops and restaurants. We had two meals at The Thatched Inn which was a 20 minute walk away and was fantastic meals. Would love to stay again in the future.

Location can't be bettered and you never get tired of the views! So easy to get into town and to the front/harbour. Great base for walkers as its directly on the coastal footpath. We did two walks directly from here, using the bus from the town centre. Apartment did feel cool at times but there was a gale blowing most of our stay! Dee was very quick to respond to a query on the heating. Overall a great stay here.

As we all entered the property their was a collective WOW! The sea views from the apartment are quite simply breathtaking. Add to that the modern decor, facilities and general ambience; we were all blown away! We had a fantastic time in Ilfracombe which was spoilt by a few days of rain as being inside the apartment was a holiday in itself. Cannot reccomend highly enough.

Super clean and comfortable apartment with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The view and sea breezes were wonderful, and the balcony was the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. And Ilfracombe is a great base from which to explore the surrounding countryside!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful apartment. It is on the top floor, so the views on three sides are stunning. It is well equipped and very clean. Minor issues were dealt with immediately. Absolutely recommended.

The apartment was lovely and as listed, it also had everything we needed. The location was great as it was central to all attractions. The views from the fourth floor were absolutely breathtaking. The children didn’t want to leave and we would definitely book again.
