Beautiful house in a great location, we didn’t want to leave!

Large and airy.

Needed a bit of updating on top stair well. As weather was nice would have been nice to sit in the garden but furniture dirty and old Some lights did not work in top room and bathroom

Carpet downstairs in pet friendly area and no bath mat which was difficult bathing the baby also no cot sheet but they have now taken action to resolve that. Garden furniture was not very robust.

The place is very big. Off street parking was easy to get everytime. Place was very clean and everything was provided. The smallest details that you wouldn’t expect were all there.

Absolutely amazing house. The photos don’t show the size and comfort, it was perfect for a large group and amazing that dogs are allowed too.

The location was excellent being only a ten - 15 min walk from the Tunnels where we had a family wedding. The house was a lovely size, full of character and suited our party perfectly.

We had a problem with some of the windows not being able to be shut - In the family bathroom and in one of the bedrooms facing the rear garden. We also had a problem with one of the guest bedroom en suites toilet and shower blocking which neccessitated a plumber having to be called. This was dealt with promptly though.

This property was absolutely fantastic. It's fixtures & fittings were of the very highest standard. This was not a five star but a FIFTY FIVE star place to stay. Everything you could need was there, both inside & out. Great location, just a ten minute walk to beach area. Book this place with confidence; you will not regret it. Can't wait to go there again.

Arrived on a cold night after a long journey to be greeted by a stone cold house. Took ages to warm up with a lot of mucking around with radiators to see if they were turned on (some didn't even heat up until the next day). We'd even been asked what time we we were arriving. Tried to run a bath but water was barely warm, so then mucked up downloading gas boiler manual to check how to adjust temperature. Turned out that the secret was to turn the water flow down - really unnecessary and frustrating. Fine, put the keys in a key lock but also tell me what the foibles of the property are. Ironically communication wasn't in short supply - we received a total of ten emails relating to the booking. Just a shame that it was all so impersonal and missing the information that we really needed. The decor is a bit weird, it's a cross between a man cave, teenage boys bedroom, beach kitsch and a nightclub (what's the mirrored furniture all about?) The duvets are really heavy - bring your own blankets if you don't want to bake (and, no surprise for a rental, the pillows are awful). There's a really annoying child gate fixed at the bottom of the stairs (luckily we didn't have anyone with mobility issues with us). Generally the bedside reading lights were really poor as were the sidelights in the living room. Don't get me wrong, it's a great house, but if you don't feel cared for the niggles soon appear.

We loved the space and the period features in the house. It was fully equipped beyond our expectations. Lots of exercise walking to the beaches and into town. Being able to get 3 families together for some quality time was amazing. We booked again for next year before we left for home.

We weren't able to find anything we didn't like.

Needed a bit more Attention to detailing on the cleaning shower tray didn't drain filter needed cleaning out dust on dado rail in lounge cobwebs in light fittings and dirt on walls in loo downstairs. On first look all looked OK

beautiful stylish and spacious the house accommodated us perfectly for a last minute NYE getaway. super comfy beds and lovely bathrooms. walking to the harbour took us around twenty minutes. the Christmas tree and fizz were also a really welcome touch..

the only very small negative is the height of the wall in the back garden if you have a curious dog! one of ours got the scent of something and was off! supervise your dogs carefully.

location was good - dog friendly too, had everything you might need, kitchen was very well equipped, rooms were clean and comfortable, decor was very tasteful. overall we had a fantastic stay at this property. there were 6 of us in total and there was plenty of room for a couple more too. would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

the sink in the loft room was completely blocked when we arrived - my husband had to use his skills to unclog it - not a problem at all, but not very pleasant at the same time, also the door handle to get out the front door felt a bit dodgy - I was scared it was going to come off and the lock to the downstairs toilet doesn’t work (as we found out she. my husband walked in on my mum who was using the toilet)! again not a major issue, but unpleasant for them both… funny for the rest of group tho!

The communication prior to arriving was very helpful and clear. There was also additional information about the location, services and shops.

Everything… Extremely well furnished and has everything you could wish for .. especially the wine fridge in the lounge … genius !

Nothing about the property .. just that is is on a hill … not the most convenient for my 80 year old parents .. buts that’s just a minor issue .. the facilities of the house more than made up for that !
