We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Guzi!

We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Guzi in Belgium! We were there during Tomorrowland, and everything was just perfect. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked great, and the hotel staff were always kind and helpful. The owner of the hotel personally assisted us with all our questions and was incredibly nice throughout our stay. The location is excellent — right in the center of the lovely town of Lier, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops. We truly enjoyed our time there and I would be more than happy to return! Highly recommended.

The location and staff. The triple room was brilliant as it had 2 separate double rooms. This was great for privacy.

Comfortable, Clean & Hospitable Staff

Located at the high street, very convenient for walking around. It is family run, and the staff were very sharp to notice that we arrived even before we approached the door. My knee was hurt and the owner showed concern. There is a brunch-lunch cafe downstairs, serving food that is well made and presented. Also very reasonable pricing. Our room was clean and the window faced the street below. The breakfast was just amazing, a comprehensive selection of food platter, includes various cold cuts, olives, egg, breads, cheeses.

Not advisable for those who can’t really use stairs, as access to rooms are via spiral staircase. The shower platform was also elevated, so need to step up to it. No hooks to hang towels.

Well located hotel.

Guzy is very well located in Lier. The staff were friendly.

The shower head was huge but the stall was very small so you couldn’t shampoo your hair with the shower running The duvet was too small for the bed. The room was not fresh smelling.

Great location, nice breakfast

We booked a triple room for 3 adults, my husband and I and our adult son. That consisted of 2 separate but interlinked bedrooms, which was very nice. Everything was spotlessly clean.

The bathroom is a good size, but the shower is very, very small. There is no shelf or any place inside the shower to put soap or shampoo. The bedside lamp is a bit too weak for reading.

The shower could have been a little larger. A bit pricy but this is probably also due to little competition in Lier. Else, absolutely no complains.

breakfast was fabulous, everything one could want personally served to your table.

there was no lift and we were on the second floor. Our luggage was carried up, so for us that wasn't a problem. There was no proper hook to hang your towel in the bathroom.

I especially want to mention the wonderful breakfast, which gives a great start to the day. But it wouldn't be the same without the owners' smiling and cheerful "Good Morning" greetings. They take care of everything with the guests during breakfast, help them when needed and give useful tourist advices. Staff was so nice and made our stay special. Rooms were big and very clean, central location and quiet at the night time. Definitely would return.

We were so delighted to find this little gem and would recommend it to anyone.

The breakfast was excellent. The freshly squeezed orange juice to die for. We couldn't believe how lucky we were with the location. The staff were so polite, incredibly helpful. Service perfect.

Our children's room was perfect. Ours was also great but there was a problem with the seal on the shower cubicle, which leaked. Easily fixed though. Otherwise, only praise for this hotel.

Location is convenient - on the way from train station to the city center. Nice touch in design - Turkish lamps (there were still labels on them :) probably from the shop combined with hotel). Breakfast is served very nicely in the corona time - everything at one plate and very instagrammable!) Spacious room with even a small hall

Bucket under the water heater - seems it was the easiest solution to fix the leaking from it. Wobbling stairs to the second floor - probably no lift (not sure)
