The Calvaloft is a large comfortable apartment of 130 m2 with 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with toilets, a living room of 30 m2 and a separate kitchen of 15 m2, located in a 17th century castle in Bons Tassilly, 15 minutes south from Caen, close to the Pays d'Auge and the Swiss Normandy region. The Calvaloft is located next to the Turgot studfarm, famous for its racehorses. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor and has an impressive view on the surrounding fields. Our bedrooms have 2 single beds of 90 x 200 cm each. There is free wifi everywhere and you will find several parking spaces in front of the castle. On site, there is a nice walk in the fields around the castle or towards the farmyard. You will find a Carrefour Contact supermarket at only 800m, 2 bakeries and the butcher at 5 minutes drive. About 8 minutes to the south, there is the medieval town of Falaise with several shops and supermarkets: Leclerc, Lidl and Biocoop. To visit nearby: the castle of William the Conqueror in Falaise, the castle of Vendeuvre, the museum for civilian war victims and the Automaton museum. You will find several superb hikes in the surrounding area and the best places for canoeing / kayaking and mountain biking are only 15 minutes away.
