Nice quiet environment. The condition of the house wasn't very good, painting was getting off and on the outside a wooden beam was rotting in the middle of the doors.

Houlgate is gorgeous. The property is tired, though. Felt a bit "institutional". Disappointing that the pool/spa only opens at 10 and closes at 7 which means you can either have a day out or stay and use the facilities. Not something I'd considered before. Spa was good though.
