Very comfortable, spacious room. Absolutely lovely, helpful staff

The bed was comfy, room big, lovely view from the window. Staff very friendly

It felt like stepping back into the 1980s, very dated. Strange set up for evening meal. No ambience music? Breakfast was one sausage, one piece of bacon, one egg, tasted ok though

OMG...what a place, lovely room the view was breathtaking 😍 beds were really comfortable 👌 and the staff molly bent over backwards and especially Erin wow she was just absolutely 💯 % running around like a wippet said to her loads off time dont you ever stop and rest for a young girl she did everything always polite and helpful what a treasure for the place someone will take her from there one day if your not careful 100%....diamond in the making thankyou all and hopefully see you soon......

The location and the very helpful young lady member of staff who was juggling balls to look after everyone.

We booked a room with kitchen facilities. We had a microwave, hob, fridge and dishwasher but no crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils. We booked for 3 adults and the third bed was missing in arrival. It was placed in the kitchen (very odd!). We booked 4 nights and the room was not serviced at all apart from the bins being emptied. We had to request toilet paper when it got low. No bottled water or glasses in the room. The terrace had dangerous uneven paving slabs and rusty railings. The gardens were uncared for with mismatched garden furniture that needed mending/cleaning. The common areas were strangely decorated with lots of dying plants and Christmas decorations (in July!!). The menus were very limited with lots of items ‘off’. There was a wine list but most items were either unavailable or horrendously expensive. No draught beers. Breakfast very limited having to choose night prior. They ran out of eggs one morning. The phrase ‘winging it’ comes to mind - utterly chaotic. The worst thing is the pricing. Massively overpriced for the room, the food and the drink. Such a shame as with a bit of organisation and a few tweaks thus could be amazing. I definitely would not recommend.
