Location was amazing with fabulous views.
The dining experience lacked ambience with prebooked slots. We realise that we were out of season and, therefore, the hotel was slightly understaffed so I am sure it is a much better experience when the hotel is busier and fully staffed.

Stunning location, comfy warm room and bathroom lovely bed.
We arrived in a verily cold spell and the dining room was cool although the proprietors provided a heater. Once we realised we wore an extra jersey and it was good.

Balcary Bay is a quiet and peaceful location with little traffic and distraction. We had a family suite with a small terrace and access to the gardens ideal with a dog. Good shoreline walks. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
The cooked breakfast was very nice but would benefit from some haggis and /or black pudding!

Location on the edge of water was great. Room was nice and comfortable.
Food wasn't great and overpriced tbh in the restaurant. Got order wrong too, but they did sort it.
