The Art Bank

The location was great!! The room we stayed in was very stylish and comfortable with a smart tv Very clean and the bathroom had a lovely big bath along with the shower of course The breakfast was delicious and very good selection

Breakfast was absolutely amazing and everything you could ever want. Service was spot on and catered for every need. Nothing was too much trouble for the host

The breakfast was lovely …very generous portions , a wide choice and served on beautiful pottery . The ambience in the room was good …lots of music to please the older ones amongst us, myself included ! Mandy was a warm and friendly host and her 3 dogs were lovely .

There was little or nothing I didn’t like about our stay at the Art House . It might have been nice to have had a sitting room , but the rooms were cosy and welcoming , all decorated very artistically

I loved the Monet room so much! It had everything I needed and more! Plenty of sachets of hot chocolate and packets of chocolate chip cookies! The little bag of home made soap was just delightful, a really lovely unexpected extra treat. Mandy was very friendly and I felt very much at home at the Art Bank. Coming down to an absolutely beautifully laid table with fresh juices, yogurt, fruits, cereals etc as 'starters' and then a full cooked Scottish breakfast totally set me up for the day! I did my best with it! Mandy is very knowledgable about the local area too. I felt free to come and go as I pleased. The Art bank is spotlessly clean yet homely and absolutely beautiful, full of Mandy and her students' beautiful art works. I look forward very much to my next visit!
