We never had breakfast because we had to vacate by 9am due to a power outage and because of the medication I have to take this wasn't appropriate.
The toilet seat was very loose and dangerous in room 5 didn't want to sit down so I think this needs repairing.

Location was lovely. My 2nd room in the inn was light and spacious with great views. The food was good.
My first room on the ground floor at the back of the inn was small and dark and I asked to move.

Friendly staff, great location for hiking and my family who live locally, great breakfasts and the bar is friendly. Pricing is fair.
4th or 5th stay at this property, but the first time I've been given a room in the 'stables' behind the main building rather than in the main building itself. The room was very small for 2 adults with luggage. It was also very dark and stuffy with just a narrow non-opening window onto the meadow and a window onto the busy courtyard used for access to the kitchen. Worse, the walls are paper thin and our neighbour had coughing fits throughout the night. I've not had these issues with other rooms at this property and will be sure to ensure I get a room upstairs in the main building next time.
